摘要: Disclosed herein is an improved carrier design for use in a chemical mechanical polishing process. The carrier employs a retainer ring that is fastened to the side of carrier, as opposed to the front of the carrier, which alleviates undesired uneven wear of the retainer ring surface. Specifically exemplified herein is a carrier comprising a membrane that is secured to the carrier body by a retainer ring that is snap-fitted to the carrier body.

摘要: A nestable or stackable container having at least one recess formed in the sidewall of the container to improve wall strength integrity. The surface of the recess further including texturing to improve grippability such that the container can be grasped in any direction while providing improved tactile engagement. An anti-rotation element is formed in the sidewall of the container and is configured to prevent rotation movement of the container when in a stacked or nested arrangement with a second container.

摘要: A method and system are provided using an offset dial gage for alignment and adjustment of a polishing pad that has been attached to a turntable of a chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) device. In a described embodiment, an offset dial gage has a surface that contacts a side of a turntable, while a sensor tip contacts the edge of a polishing pad positioned on the turntable. This provides an assessment of radial displacement of the polishing pad edge at this measurement point relative to the side of the turntable. Based on one or more such measurements, the polishing pad may be found acceptably positioned, may be trimmed, or may be replaced. The method and system reduce or eliminate the occurrence of a defect pattern found to be related to side unloading of semiconductor wafers from a CMP turntable.

摘要: The present disclosure describes systems and methods for monitoring, diagnosing and optimizing operation of an electric submersible pump (ESP). At least some illustrative embodiments include a method that includes collecting measured data representative of a state of an ESP within a well or of well conditions and storing the measured data, matching a nodal analysis model of the well to the well by matching one or more modeled values to corresponding measured data, and identifying one or more likely conditions of the ESP based at least in part on data generated by a matched model. The method further includes updating the matched model to reflect a selected correction of one of the likely conditions identified, generating ESP performance curves using the updated model, and presenting to a user an action recommended to achieve an ESP performance consistent with an ESP operating point selected from one of the ESP performance curves.

摘要: A nozzle for dispensing fuel into a vehicle. The nozzles includes a body portion and a spout extending from the body portion. The spout passes fuel from the body portion to a vehicle. The body portion includes a fuel flow control member for allowing or preventing fuel from passing through the body portion and the spout into the vehicle. The spout has first and second portions. The first portion of the spout is positioned adjacent the body portion and the second portion of the spout is removed from the body portion. Preferably, at least one fuel collection member is provided for collecting fuel remaining in the body portion and the spout after the fuel control member shuts-off the flow of fuel through the spout to prevent dripping of fuel from the end of the spout.

摘要: By installing a cylinder 53 having a bell-mouth construction to the downstream side of a combustor basket 2a, compressed air flowing between the combustor basket 2a and an external cylinder 2c is throttled. In addition, by having a cross section of the downstream-side end surface of the cylinder 53 shaped in a semicircle and providing a back surface wall 2d having a curvature being equivalent to a curvature of the semicircular curved surface, compressed air flow making 180 degrees turn can be made uniform and free from disturbance.
