摘要: As mobile handsets are typically much slower than desktops for processing intensive applications, and as XSL-based XML document transformations (or XSLT) are processing intensive, such transformations are costly on mobile devices both because of execution time and energy consumption. While other processing intensive applications, such as voice communication and graphics rendering, have exploited options in the design of mobile processor architecture, similar methodologies have not been applied to XSLT processing. A method for parallelizing XSLT processing on devices with multiple processors is therefore devised. The method divides XSLT processing into separately schedulable subtasks, synchronizes these subtasks, and schedules such subtasks on multiple processors for improved time and energy efficiency.

摘要: An antenna includes a ground plate, a conductive branch having a conductor feed extended for electrically coupling to the ground plate, and a cable electrically coupled to the conductor feed for signal transmitting and receiving purpose. The conductive branch is inclined relative to the conductor feed and the ground plate, for increasing signal transmitting and receiving directions and frequency range for the antenna, and for avoiding dead angles for the antenna. One or more conductor extensions may be electrically coupled between the conductor feed and the ground plate, for increase a signal transmitting and receiving or communicating path between the conductive branch and the ground plate.

摘要: The disclosure provides a method and system of resource reconfiguration for a cognitive-radio system. The method includes that: a reconfiguration module of a wireless communication system acquires a reconfiguration command according to a received spectrum refarming indication or by monitoring a network condition of the wireless communication system (101); and sends the reconfiguration command to a base station to implement resource reconfiguration by executing the reconfiguration command via the base station (102). With the disclosure, proper radio resource reconfiguration is performed by a reconfiguration module of each wireless communication system according to utilization of spectral resources in the system, so that the utilization of spectral resources in a primary system and between RATs may be coordinated, thereby enhancing the resource utilization rate of each wireless communication system and the spectrum utilization rate of the primary system, such as a broadcast and television system, and leading to a more balanced network load.

摘要: Technologies for modular forwarding table scalability of a software cluster switch includes a plurality of computing nodes. Each of the plurality of computing nodes includes a global partition table (GPT) to determine an egress computing node for a network packet received at an ingress computing node of the software cluster switch based on a flow identifier of the network packet. The GPT includes a set mapping index that corresponds to a result of a hash function applied to the flow identifier and a hash function index that identifies a hash function of a hash function family whose output results in a node identifier that corresponds to the egress computing node to which the ingress computing node forwards the network packet. Other embodiments are described herein and claimed.

摘要: The disclosure provides a method for transmitting Cognitive Pilot Channel (CPC) information, a radio access method and system based on CPC information, wherein the method for transmitting CPC information includes: dividing a CPC into a primary CPC for transmitting primary CPC information and a secondary CPC for transmitting secondary CPC information; loading the primary CPC information periodically into fixed physical resources, and sending the primary CPC information to a user equipment; after a base station receives a preset triggering event, loading the secondary CPC information into variable physical resources, and sending the secondary CPC information to the user equipment. In the disclosure, the base station loads the primary CPC information into fixed physical resources of an RAT according to an RAT coverage condition, reducing the amount of information required to be delivered by fixed physical resources, decreasing occupation of fixed physical resources, speeding up radio access of the user equipment; and after receiving a triggering event, the base station loads the secondary CPC information into variable physical resources and sends the secondary CPC information to the user equipment, thus implementing optimization of a user network and radio resources.

摘要: Data on a first computing device can be represented by a graphical object displayed on a screen of the first device. A user can initiate an “attach event” (e.g., a pinching gesture with respect to the object) to enable the object (e.g., the data represented by the object) to be associated and/or virtually attached to him/her. One or more cameras can view/track the user's hand/finger movement(s). Based on the viewed/tracked movement(s), the object representing the data can be moved on a screen of the first device to correspond to the movement of the user's hand/finger. The object can also be moved to a position on a screen of a second computing device when the user moves his/her hand/finger to an area corresponding to the position. A user initiated “release event” (e.g., an unpinching gesture) can end the association and enable the data to be shared with the second device.
