The subject matter of the present invention is a sterile liquid composition dedicated to administration into or through the skin and/or the lips, wherein said composition comprises, in a physiologically acceptable medium, at least one photo-crosslinkable compound, wherein said compound comprises at least one activated photo-dimerizable group having at least one activated double bond and selected from photo-dimerizable groups carrying a stilbazolium function of formula (Ia) or (Ib) and wherein the photo-dimerizable groups carry a styrylazolium function of formula (II), the photo-dimerizable group(s) being carried by a partially or totally hydrolysed poly(vinyl acetate) polymer, a polysaccharide or a polyvinyl alcohol.

The present invention relates to a composition in the form of an emulsion of the oil-in-water type formed of oily globules which are each provided with a lamellar liquid crystal coating and which are dispersed in an aqueous phase, wherein it has a pH ranging from 3 to 5.5 and in that it contains at least one lipophilic surface-active agent with an HLB ranging from 2 to 5, at least one hydrophilic surface-active agent with an HLB ranging from 8 to 12 and at least one amphiphilic compound of ionic nature at a pH ranging from 3 to 5.5.

Disclosed are cosmetic compositions and methods for making up keratinous tissue using the compositions, as well as methods of making the compositions. The compositions contain a photoluminescent polymer (PLP) which is an oligomeric polyester synthesized from a multifunctional monomer and a diol, and which has grafted thereon an amino acid or an amino acid derivative. The compositions achieve a colorizing and/or UV-protectant effect when applied to keratinous tissue.

A nanoemulsion, the oily globules of which have a number-average size of less than 100 nm, comprising a surfactant which is solid at a temperature of less than or equal to 45° C., which surfactant is chosen from esters of a fatty acid and of a sugar and ethers of a fatty alcohol and of a sugar, and at least one oil having a molecular weight of greater than 400, the ratio by weight of the amount of oily phase to the amount of surfactant ranging from 2 to 10. The nanoemulsion may be used for cosmetics and dermatological applications, in particular for moisturizing the skin and/or mucous membranes, as well as for treating the hair, and in the ophthalmological field, as an eye lotion for treating the eyes.

The disclosure relates to sunscreen compositions having a synergistic combination of ultraviolet light (UV) filtering agents that provide a high sun protection factor (SPF). Compositions according to the disclosure have high SPF values without requiring high overall amounts of UV filtering agents, and without requiring the use of oxybenzone. Furthermore, the disclosure relates to methods of using the described compositions for protecting keratinous substances such as skin and hair from UV radiation.
