    摘要: Technologies for providing policy-based secure containers for multiple enterprise applications include a client computing device and an enterprise policy server. The client computing device sends device attribute information and a request for access to an enterprise application to the enterprise policy server. The enterprise policy server determines a device trust level based on the device attribute information and a data sensitivity level based on the enterprise application, and sends a security policy to the client computing device based on the device trust level and the data sensitivity level. The client computing device references or creates a secure container for the security policy, adds the enterprise application to the secure container, and enforces the security policy while executing the enterprise application in the secure container. Multiple enterprise applications may be added to each secure container. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method of rendering telecommunication devices ineffective, by creating a substantially radio frequency radiation-free environment by providing an interference generating pattern (IGP) adjacent to the environment in a position between the environment and a source of radio frequency radiation signals so as to substantially reduce, or interfere with such signals thus preventing typical operation of the wireless telecommunications devices. The IGP is generally one that is non-conductive and is or includes a diffraction grating. The IGP is positioned adjacent the environment between the environment and a source of radio frequency radiation signals. Preferably, the IGP is provided as a support member configured in the shape of a diffraction grating, and includes a paint or coating of a non-conductive material having a high dielectric constant thereon.

    摘要: A method for restarting a processor-based system is disclosed. The basic input/output system (BIOS) firmware for performing the restart may or may not reside on the processor-based system. Where the local BIOS firmware is corrupt or not present, remote BIOS firmware is loaded into the processor cache by a specialized network interface card. The network interface card includes direct cache access (DCA) functionality, enabling it to store packets retrieved from the network directly into the processor cache, for faster processing. Remote downloading of the BIOS firmware from the network solves on-platform flash corruption within the processor-based system without costly board rework. Other benefits include mitigating the misappropriation of BIOS and chipset intellectual property, improved restart performance of the processor-based system, as well as improvement in chipset validation. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Stagnation or low flow areas in the plenum can be reduced by imparting a non-axial flow component to the fluid flow as it passes through the plenum. Improvement of the cleaning effectiveness of the luer connection reduces the amount of flushing fluid needed to clean the connection, reduces the residual blood matter at a fixed volume of fluid relative to a standard luer connection, or combinations of the above.

    摘要: In-sequence media packets that arrive at a media server are processed immediately, and a buffer at the media server is checked for packets whose processing was previously deferred due to out-of-sequence arrival. Any in-sequence packets in the buffer are also processed and forwarded immediately after the processing and forwarding of the received in-sequence packet. Processing and forwarding are deferred for out-of-sequence packets, i.e., packets that are higher in the sequence than the next expected packet, by placing the out-of-sequence packets in the buffer. When a packet is placed in the buffer, a timer is initiated for the missing packet(s). If a pre-determined time passes without the receipt of a missing packet, the missing packet is declared lost and the next-in-sequence received packet is processed and forwarded toward the destination.
