    摘要: A humidifier tub includes a first side having an air inlet opening configured to receive the pressurized flow of respiratory gas. A second side opposes the first side. An air outlet opening is configured to discharge the pressurized flow of respiratory gas with added humidity. An inlet passage extends from the air inlet opening toward the second side so that the pressurized flow of respiratory gas travels through the inlet passage in a first direction. A guidance structure is located between the first and second sides and positioned so that a traveling direction of the pressurized flow of respiratory gas changes from the first direction to a second direction upon the pressurized flow of respiratory gas engaging the guidance structure. The guidance structure extends downward from a lid. In addition, the first direction is a lateral direction and the second direction is a downward direction.

    摘要: The Bone Dust Trap for collecting bone dust during various surgical procedures for subsequent bone graft implantation. The device includes cylindrical housing unit covered with the lid, attached to the central pipe with the porous tip. The pipe connects the cyclone forming mechanism and filtrating membrane, located at the lower part of the central pipe. The membrane interlinks with the plurality of porous plates located along the walls of the cylinder. The cyclone forming mechanism, consisting of the inlet port with conical jet and the spiral helix, creates spiral movement of the incoming fluid. The liquid is further directed towards the 2-stage filtrating system with the said porous plates, where larger bone particles are accumulated, and then to the filtrating membrane, which collects smaller particles. The fluid is extracted through the central pipe. The lid can be removed to collect the bone particles from plates and membrane.

    摘要: Various exemplary drug delivery devices with a spinning nozzle, drug products utilizing the same, and methods of using drug delivery devices with a spinning nozzle are provided. In general, a nasal drug delivery device configured to dispense a drug therefrom includes a spinning nozzle configured to facilitate the drug's ejection into a patient's nose. The spinning nozzle is located between a drug holder containing the drug to be dispensed and an opening of the drug delivery device through which the drug exits the drug delivery device. The spinning nozzle is configured to spin during the drug's delivery as the drug travels from the drug holder and out of the drug delivery device. The spinning nozzle includes a plurality of perforations therein through which the drug as a liquid is configured to pass. The spinning of the spinning nozzle causes the drug to exit the drug delivery device as a fine mist.
