A service method definition section defines a value of each of the plurality of constraints by defining a value of each of a group of constraints to thereby determine a value of each of the other group of constraints which are related to at least one constraint of the group of constraints. A program generator generates a server construction program using the defined constraints. The server operates according to the server construction program received from the system. A simultaneous multiple-access processing server used by the interactive program, WEB shopping, and the like can be easily constructed.

摘要： A contents playback apparatus and the like are provided which allow a user to promptly designate a desired portion when displaying a part of a content in an expanded manner, and are thus excellent in operability. A contents playback apparatus includes an associating unit and a playback unit. The associating unit generates association information for a plurality of characteristic portions contained in a content by referring to priority orders of the respective characteristic portions relative to each other, the association information associating each of the characteristic portions individually with a predetermined operation key of an input device included in the apparatus in accordance with the priority orders. The playback unit plays back, in response to detecting an operation of an operation key during display of the content, the characteristic portion corresponding to the operation key in an expanded display mode, in accordance with the association information.

摘要： A system is provided that can easily capture the same broadcast stream from an arbitrary application. An interface between application and a reception route selection mechanism describes in a unified mode a broadcast resource capture specification method and a communication resource capture specification method. The interface employs a description scheme in which an application does not recognize whether or not a broadcast stream is captured through broadcast or communication. In the reception route selection, the reception route selection mechanism checks for a broadcast time contained in the identifier of a broadcast stream to be input so that a zone where a broadcast time is earlier than the current time by using a communication resource receiver while a zone where the broadcast time is later than the current time is selected by using a broadcast resource receiver.

Stream data only in a range corresponding to the above recording demand range information of the user recorded by the above demand range recording processing is read out by a redistributing section 7 from the stream data recording section 6 and is redistributed to the user.
