摘要: A liquid-supply apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus supplies liquid to be applied onto a recording medium to a liquid-supply pan. The liquid-supply apparatus comprises a temporary-storage room arranged lower than a liquid surface of the liquid-supply pan, the temporary-storage room storing the liquid inside the liquid-supply pan by temporal evacuation, an evacuation line connecting the liquid-supply pan and the temporary-storage room, the evacuation line being a flow channel for the liquid during evacuation, an evacuation-line opening and closing member opening and closing the evacuation line, and a controller controlling an opening and closing operation of the evacuation-line opening and closing member. The liquid surface in the temporary-storage room is in a position lower than that of the liquid-supply pan. The controller controls the operation of the evacuation-line opening and closing member so as to fill the evacuation line with the liquid as an auxiliary operation just before the evacuation.

摘要: A lamp socket receives an LED lamp provided with an L-shaped pin having a contact piece and an extension piece extending from a tip of the contact piece. The lamp socket includes a socket body having an insertion hole at its front surface and a conductive plate. The conductive plate has one surface facing an axis of the insertion hole and a first space is formed between the other surface of the conductive plate and an inner surface of the socket body. A second space is formed between a bottom surface of the socket body and the conductive plate. A third space, or rotation space, is formed between the first space and the bottom surface. When the pin is inserted via the insertion hole and the LED lamp is rotated, the contact piece comes in contact with the conductive plate and the extension piece passes through the rotation space.

摘要: A management apparatus collects an operation log and a job log from an image forming apparatus by using a job log collection unit and an operation log collection unit. The management apparatus identifies operation log information corresponding to a start operation, of the collected operation logs, as an operation start log information while identifying an operation log corresponding to an end operation as operation end log information. The management apparatus further associates the identified operation start log information and the job log information whose job type of the collected job log matches the job type of the operation end log information, with the operation start log information and the operation end log information.

摘要: In a gas discharge display apparatus, a dielectric layer overlies the row electrode pairs provided between the opposing front and back glass substrates placed across the discharge space. A protective layer for the dielectric layer includes a crystalline MgO layer that has a property causing a cathode-luminescence emission having a peak within a wavelength range of 200 nm to 300 nm upon excitation by electron beams. A red phosphor layer generating visible light by being excited by vacuum ultraviolet light includes a mixed phosphor of a first phosphor of (Y, Gd)BO3:Eu or the like which is a borate-system red phosphor and a second phosphor of Y(V, P)O4:Eu which is a phos-vana system red phosphor.

摘要: An image management method of recording image data, together with date information indicative of a recording date at a predetermined recording medium to manage the image data in day-by-day groups based on the date information of the image data, has the step of detecting an image source of image data to be recorded. When image data from a first image source and image data from a second image source are recorded on the same day, the image data from the first image source is managed in a first group based on the date information, while the image data from the second image source is managed in a new second group.
