摘要： A method and digital camera for capturing images to be provided to a service provider. The camera includes a capture device for capturing digital images; a memory for storing the captured digital images; an interface to a communications device for transmitting the stored images to a service provider; wherein the digital interface automatically transfers images to the network service provider during a specified time period. Rechargeable batteries may be provided for powering the digital camera; wherein the communications device recharges the batteries using the interface. The camera may further include a display for displaying digital files stored in the digital memory and displaying the at least one order status confirmation file on the display.

The second directory can be used for placing an image order and/or reviewing confirmation provided by a service provider of an image order.

摘要： A motion image processing system applies special effects to a motion image recorded on a motion storage medium by utilizing other data that is also recorded on the motion storage medium. In particular, the motion image processing system includes a structure for generating a digital image signal stream; an arrangement for accessing the other data recorded on the motion storage medium, where the other data comprises prerecorded information for generating at least one special effect in conjunction with the recorded images; a signal processing section for applying the special effect to the digital image signal stream; and a structure for loading the signal processing section with the prerecorded information on the motion recording medium in order to generate the special effect. By thus providing the motion recording medium with pre-recorded imagery and/or data which interacts with the user-captured video stream, it is possible to provide a more appealing “edited” video stream that would be difficult or impossible to achieve without extensive editing equipment.

摘要： A method of selecting images from a plurality of images previously stored in a local digital memory, ordering services to be provided utilizing the images, and transferring such images over a channel to a remote digital memory where the services are to be provided includes storing a plurality of images in the local memory location along with corresponding thumbnail images and displaying at least a subset of the thumbnail images for viewing by a user. The user selects those images to be transferred after viewing the displayed thumbnail images and provides image identifiers for each selected image to be uploaded to the remote location and a service order which specifies the services to be provided utilizing such selected images. The remote location confirms the receipt of the service order. The images are transferred over the channel to the remote memory location at a suitable time for effective data transfer whereby the ordered services can be subsequently provided.

摘要： An electronic imaging system includes a digital electronic camera for capturing and storing images in a removable storage device, which is also preloaded with enhancement files for effecting the operation of the system. The camera includes an optical section for establishing the optical parameters of image capture, an image sensing section for electrically capturing the image, and a signal processing section for operating upon the electrically captured image prior to storage. The several sections of the camera are coordinated and controlled by a programmable processor, which is capable of receiving the enhancement files preloaded into the storage device. These files may contain software for updating the operating code of the camera, for modifying the electrically captured image in selected ways, for modifying camera in special situations, or for communicating non-captured image-like data, such as text and image overlays, to the camera.
