Abstract: A wireless sound device capable of effectively receiving a command that meets a user's intention without an error despite a user input unit having a limited size, and a method for controlling the same. The wireless sound device includes a wireless communication unit for wireless communication with an external device, a touch sensor for sensing a touch input of a user in a touch standby mode, a force sensor for sensing a force based on the touch input, a sound output unit for outputting an audio signal received from the external device, and a controller that controls a touch mode of the wireless sound device to be switched to a touch accepting mode or a touch ignoring mode in response to the touch input, and, when a touch validity of the touch input is positive, the controller controls the touch mode to be switched to a touch accepting mode or a touch ignoring mode based on a force validity of the touch input.

Abstract: An extended reality (XR) device and a method for controlling the same are disclosed. The XR device is applicable to 5G communication technology, robot technology, autonomous driving technology, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. The XR device includes a communication module configured to communicate with a Head-Mounted Display (HMD) that is worn by a user to provide the user with Virtual Reality (VR) content, a camera configured to receive an image of a first space including the user, and a processor configured to transmit VR content to the HMD through the communication module. The processor recognizes a position of the user and positions of a plurality of real-world objects within an image of the first space. When the user moves closer to at least one of the recognized objects by a predetermined distance or less, the processor warns the user of possibility of collision with the at least one recognized object.

Abstract: The present invention comprises: a first region, having a display area for outputting images, for receiving touch input or acquiring fingerprint data by means of a touch entered on the display area; a touchscreen comprising a second region for receiving touch input; and a control unit for switching the first region from a touch receiving mode, which receives touch input, to a fingerprint sensing mode when a touch input is entered in the first region, wherein the touchscreen is provided with a touch sensor layer for receiving touch input at a first sense resolution in the touch receiving mode, and the control unit which, in the fingerprint sensing mode, switches the first region from the first sense resolution to a second sense resolution, which is higher than the former, so as to acquire fingerprint data, and maintains the second region at the first sense resolution so that the former receives touch input.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a watch-type mobile terminal and a method for controlling the same. In the case of the second state, the display unit displays a second indicator which represents exercise efficiency.

Abstract: A mobile terminal including a display; a touch sensor configured to detect a touch input on the display; and a controller configured to activate the display and periodically drive the touch sensor with a first period; deactivate the display in response to a predetermined condition and periodically drive the touch sensor with a second period greater than the first period; detect a first tap input applied on the touch sensor in state of the deactivated display; determine a region of the display that corresponds to the first tap input; detect a second tap input applied on the touch sensor in state of the deactivated display within a predefined time period from the first tap input; determine if the second tap input is applied within the region; in response to the second tap input being applied within the region of the display that corresponds to the first tap input, activate the display and periodically drive the touch sensor with the first period; and in response to the second tap input being applied to a spot outside the region of the display that corresponds to the first tap input, maintain the deactivation of the display and periodically drive the touch sensor with the second period.
