    Abstract: The present invention pertains to an audio playback method and an audio playback apparatus in a 6DoF environment. The audio playback method of the present invention is characterised by comprising: a decoding step of decoding a received audio signal, and outputting the decoded audio signal and metadata; a modelling step of receiving input of position information of a user, checking whether the position of the user has changed from a previous position, and if the position of the user has changed, modelling binaural rendering data so as to correspond to the changed position of the user; and a rendering step of binaural-rendering the decoded audio signal using the modelled rendering data, and outputting the same as a two-channel audio signal. The audio playback method and apparatus in a 6DoF environment according to an embodiment of the present invention uses position change information of a user, changes the volume and depth of a sound source together according to the position of a user, and can thereby facilitate playback of a stereoscopic and realistic audio signal.

    Abstract: A digital broadcast receiver for processing a broadcast signal, includes a tuner configured to receive the broadcast signal including Physical Layer Pipes (PLPs), wherein the PLPs carry link layer packets; and a controller coupled to the tuner, wherein the controller is configured to select and decode a specific PLP, detect and acquire first signaling information for supporting a channel scan and second signaling information for a robust header compression, wherein the second signaling information for the robust header compression includes a PLP identifier, profile information for representing a range of multiple protocols used to compress at least one stream, and a maximum value of a context identifier, select and decode another PLP to receive the at least one stream based on the second signaling information for the robust header compression, and decompress the at least one stream.

    Abstract: A method of processing an emergency alert in a broadcast receiver includes receiving a broadcast signal including an emergency alert table, the emergency alert table including an emergency alert text related to an emergency alert message, information for identifying a viewing target for the emergency alert message and emergency-related broadcast service information for an emergency-related broadcast service, decoding the emergency alert table, displaying the emergency alert text in the decoded emergency alert table, and displaying an additional content related to the emergency alert message. The broadcast signal further includes wake-up information that includes 2 bits representing at least a first wake-up notification of a first emergency or a second wake-up notification of a second emergency different from the first wake-up notification of the first emergency.

    Abstract: A method for 360 video data processing based on multiple viewpoints performed by a 360 video receiving apparatus according to the present invention comprises the steps of: acquiring, from received video signals, image information for pictures of multiple viewpoints-based 360 videos and metadata for the multiple viewpoints-based 360 videos, wherein the metadata includes multiple viewpoint information; decoding an image of a first viewport of a first viewpoint on the basis of the metadata and the image information; rendering the image of the first viewport into a 3D space; decoding an image of a second viewport of a second viewpoint on the basis of the metadata and the image information; deriving, in a case in which the hotspot in the first viewport is selected, the second viewport in the second viewpoint connected through a hotspot on the basis of the multiple viewpoint information; and rendering the image of the second viewport into the 3D space.
