    摘要: A device to control a gas-fired appliance as a function of the composition of a gaseous fuel. The device includes a thermal conductivity sensor emitting a measurement signal dependent upon the thermal conductivity of the gaseous fuel. An analyzing unit receives the measurement signal and uses it to develop a control signal dependent upon the composition of the gaseous fuel. A control unit receives the control signal and uses it to control the operating parameters of the gas-fired appliance, in the case of a gas engine particularly the parameters of air/fuel ratio, output and angle of advance. The analyzing unit may include an input interface into which data on the type of gaseous fuel components may be entered, which are used for the generation of the control signal. Preferably the control signal is proportional to the available methane number of the gaseous fuel, whereby the operating parameters of the gas engine are controlled so that the methane number required is adjusted to the methane number available. This leads in particular to an improvement in the knocking behavior of the gas engine.

    摘要: Transparent copolyamides with very good processibility, very good mechanical properties, excellent transparency and hydrolysis stability in boiling water, and alloyability with other polyamides, are obtained through polycondensation of alkyl derivatives of dicycane and additional polyamide-forming components, together with isophthalic acid and an .omega.-aminocarboxylic acid or its lactam with more than 8 C-atoms, or salts thereof, or a stoichiometric mixture of an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid and an aliphatic diamine.The copolyamides of the invention are excellently suitable for the production of molded articles, thanks to their low processing viscosity.

Along with the binder resins, the coating composition optionally includes further additives that are typical for the processing and use of powder coatings.

    摘要: A thermoplastic polyamide comprising a copolyamide which is the reaction product of a hexamethylene diamine unsubstituted or substituted with at least one alkyl group, and a bis(4-aminocyclohexyl) alkane which is substituted adjacent to the amino groups, and a dicarboxylic acid. Molded bodies made therefrom have high rigidity and tensile strength over a broad temperature range, low water uptake, high dimensional stability, low permeability to oxygen, and high distortion temperatures. They are particularly suitable for injection molding and extrusion particularly when they are modified to improved impact strength, especially for the preparation of thin walled or large surface area shapes.

    摘要: Thermoplastic polyamide molding materials having reduced water uptake are obtained by the addition of 0.3-15% by weight, based on the polyamide, of an epoxide compound containing at least one oxirane group of general formula I ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 is hydrogen, alkyl, aralkyl or aryl, and R.sub.2 is hydrogen, alkyl, dialkyl, aryl, or a group of general formula IIR.sub.3 --X--CH.sub.2 -- (II)in which X can be oxygen, sulfur or substituted nitrogen and R.sub.3 can be a substituted or non-substituted aromatic, cycloaliphatic, araliphatic or aliphatic group which can also contain further oxirane groups and be interrupted by other groupings.Glycidyl ethers are particularly preferred epoxide compounds. The molding materials of the invention are suitable especially for use in the construction of motor vehicles, instruments, apparatus or machines.
