    摘要: In a proposed electromagnetic pressure regulating valve (10, 10a), the functional characteristics of a pressure regulating valve are combined with those of a switching valve. The pressure regulating valve (10, 10a) can be used in particular to control automatic transmissions in motor vehicles and is characterized by reduced manufacturing costs, reduced leakage and an operating range which is expanded for reduced operating pressures and with a continuous characteristic line. For this purpose, the valve part (11, 11a) of the pressure regulating valve (10, 10a) has a first seat valve (45) with a closing element (34). This closing element (34) cooperates with an actuating element (35, 35a) which has a control edge (50) to form a second seat valve (49).

    摘要: A method of protecting keratinous material, especially wool, from attack by insects that feed on keratin, which comprises treating said material with compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein X is oxygen or sulfur, each of R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 independently is alkyl, alkenyl, benzyl or unsubstituted or substituted phenyl, R.sub.3 is halogen, nitro or trihalomethyl, R.sub.4 is hydrogen, halogen or trihalomethyl, and R.sub.5 is hydrogen, halogen, methyl or methoxy. The invention also provides novel compounds of the formula (1) wherein at least one of R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 is phenyl or substituted phenyl and X is oxygen as well as compositions containing the compounds of the formula (1) and compositions which, in addition to the compounds of formula (1), also contain synthetic pyrethroids, esters of .alpha.-alkyl-substituted phenylacetic acids or substituted sulfanilides.

    摘要: A reaction mass for a launching tube having a centrally positioned propellant charge for propelling a missile at its forward end and a reaction mass located rearwardly of the propellant charge which is propelled at the rear end, comprises an inert, readily fragmentizing, expellable reaction mass comprising a glass material which is internally prestressed and which disintegrates at the launch. The reaction mass is advantageously in the form of a glass cylinder which is either connected to a metallic pusher member arranged rearwardly of the propellant charge which is pushed by the ignition of the charge in a rearward direction, or it may comprise a glass cylinder which includes its own pusher head formation. The pusher itself is arrested by a brake positioned at the rear exit. In addition, the rear exit is closed by a diaphragm which may shatter after ignition of the propellant charge. The reaction mass may also comprise a front pusher face which is engaged with a rear brake positioned at the rear opening or it may comprise a plurality of layers of glass held to a pusher head which is arrested at the rear opening. In still another embodiment, the glass may comprise a plurality of flat discs held together in an assembly to a pusher member.

The impeller rotates in the pump chamber and has a substantially disc-shaped hub part provided on its periphery with a plurality of radially outwardly extending vanes. At least one of the chamber walls in the region of radially outer ends of the vanes has an approximately ring shaped, groove-like supply passage which surrounds a rotary axis of the impeller. The inlet opening opens in a ring region of the pump chamber which is limited on one side by the hub part of the impeller and on the other side by an inner ring edge of the ring-shaped supply passage which surrounds the hub part with a distance from the latter.

    摘要: The contrast between a target and the target markers or line divisions on a graticule disk of a sight, especially for a hand-held weapon, is enhanced by a device which illuminates the graticule disk with refected liight. The device has an attachment member which is rapidly mountable to and removable from the sight housing. The attachment member carries a frame which holds glass bodies filled with gaseous tritium and coated on the reflecting surfaces with a luminous lacquer or paint. The light entry and exit sides are not coated. The attachment member holding the frame permits shifting the frame between a first effective position in which light collected by the tritium filled glass bodies is transmitted onto the graticule disk, and a second ineffective position in which light is not transmitted to the graticule disk.

    摘要: A fuel injection pump, embodied as a series pump, has a governor rod for rotating a pump piston provided with an oblique control groove. The pump piston further has at least one longitudinal groove, by means of which upon congruence with a fill and relief opening of the pump work chamber, a zero fuel supply can be established. With electrically controlled actuation of the governor rod, the appropriate adjustment of the end stops of the governor rod or the appropriate embodiment of the pump piston assures that the opening comes into congruence with a longitudinal groove adjoining the full-load working zone of the pump piston before the end stop of the governor rod is reached.
