    摘要: A UV-shielding coating composition comprises (A) a dispersion in a dispersing medium of composite zinc oxide nanoparticles which are obtained by coating surfaces of zinc oxide nanoparticles with an oxide or hydroxide of Al, Si, Zr and Sn, the dispersion having a photocatalytic degradability of up to 25%, (B) a vinyl copolymer obtained from copolymerization of an alkoxysilyl-containing vinyl monomer, a UV-absorbing vinyl monomer, and another monomer, and (C) a solvent. The composition is transparent to visible light, UV-shielding, mar resistant, weatherable, and durable.

    摘要: An antibacterial/antifungal inorganic matter is composited with wood by impregnating wood with a solution containing a silicon alkoxide and an antibacterial/antifungal organic silicon compound having a hydrolyzable alkoxysilyl group, and subjecting the silicon compounds within the cell walls (inter- and intracellular) spaces to hydrolysis at various temperatures and polycondensation. The same is prepared by treating wood with a siloxane oligomer and curing the oligomer. The antibacterial/antifungal component is prevented from being leached out.

    摘要: The present invention relates to an acoustic reproducing apparatus which is suitable particularly for listening to reproduced sound with noise through an open-air-type head phone. A sound leakage frequency band, when a head phone is loaded is measured in advance, and operation of a filter attenuating that sound leakage frequency band is changed-over. Thereby the sound leakage from the head phone to the outside in the loaded state is controlled. Also, a noise frequency characteristic is measured in advance, the low frequency band is intensified so as to correspond to that characteristic, and operation of the filter for attenuating the high frequency band containing the above-mentioned sound leakage frequency band is controlled to be changed-over.
