    摘要: A large number of cards are vertically randomly stored on a horizontal platen. Each card has a serrated bottom code edge contacting the platen, a magnetic chip implanted in a vertical edge and a hook on the upper edge. Selected serrations are removed from the bottom edges of the cards to constitute a selection code. Selected sorting bars are raised into position between the serrations, and a magnet attracts the magnetic chips so that only the selected card having serrations removed corresponding to the raised sorting bars is pulled horizontally backward by the magnet by a distance of one serration. A push bar then engages with the hook of the selected card, and pushes the selected card horizontally forward and simultaneously lifts the selected card clear of the other cards to a retrieval position.

Write clock generating circuits measure a number of counts of a predetermined clock during a period since one of the laser beam detecting sensors detects each of the beams until another sensor detects the beam. A write clock frequency adjusting circuit takes the number of counts for one laser beam as a reference value and adjusts write clock frequencies of other laser beams so as to coincide with the reference value.

    摘要: A cleaning apparatus for a photoconductive element includes a cleaning member engaged with the surface of the photoconductive element to remove residual toner therefrom, a toner collecting member for collecting the toner removed by the cleaning member, and a casing for accommodating such members thereinside. The casing is formed with a guide section which permits the cleaning apparatus to be bodily moved in a direction perpendicular to an intended direction of movement of the photoconductive element. The guide section is positioned above the center of gravity position of the casing and farther from the photoconductive element than the center of gravity position. With this arrangement, the casing can be loaded and unloaded without any damage to the photoconductive element.
