Abstract:
A game set allows building wall structures with magnetic tiles that have magnets located around the peripheral sides or edges. Since the tiles are held only by magnetic force, they are susceptible to buckling by application of perpendicular forces and to prevent such buckling, a plurality of thin holding strips are provided that extend over the joint, magnetically held edges of the magnetic tiles and prevents buckling. The magnet set also includes additional accessories, such as figurines that can be magnetically adhered to the wall structures, electrical lighting that can be adhered to the wall structures and drawing sheets that can be adhered to the wall structures.
Abstract:
A cell phone charger comprises a main body having embedded therein a charging circuit configured to receive line AC voltage and to convert it to a DC voltage suitable for charging the mobile device. AC prongs fold into the body in a stowed position and a connection structure formed integrally with the main body grasps onto and holds the charger secured to the cell phone device. In a preferred embodiment, the AC prongs pivot independently and lie flat against an outside surface of the main body. In a further embodiment, the AC prongs are concealed by a cover plate in their stowed position.
Abstract:
An electrical vehicle including a vehicle body, a passenger compartment, a chassis supporting the passenger compartment, a plurality of wheels and at least one electrical motor for driving the wheels. A battery compartment of the vehicle is configured to removably mount therein a plurality of more than two rechargeable batteries which are movable into position in the battery compartment by a battery conveyor system which has a battery access opening through which batteries are installed or removed, one by one, to and from the battery compartment. In the battery compartment, a connection mechanism effects the needed mechanical and electrical connections. An overall control system controls the conveyor system and the connection mechanism to enable rapid replacement of the removable batteries, whereby an electrical vehicle can be instantly driven, even after its batteries have been discharged by a replacement of the discharged batteries and the installation of freshly charged batteries.
Abstract:
A device for transferring a web of paper in the drying section of a paper making machine from one dryer to the next without any open draw. The device is a stationary vacuum bridge that is defined by a pair of walls, and includes rollers on one of the walls for the felt of the drying section to roll thereon.
Abstract:
An alerting device for an vehicle includes a sensor which senses the position of the movable locking knob of the vehicle and provides a switch output to a circuit which produces an alerting sound when the door locking knob has been opened. In one form thereof, the door locking knob is replaced with a structure which movably supports a magnet which moves between a position which is near a magnet sensor and a position where it is away from the magnet sensors. When the door locking knob is moved to the open position, the magnetic sensor senses its condition and causes the circuit to output an audible alert.
