    摘要： Steel strips are electroplated with a Zn-Fe base alloy containing 10 to 30% by weight of iron in a chloride bath which contains zinc and ferrous chlorides to give a total concentration of zinc and ferrous ions of from 1.0 mol/l to the solubility limit with a weight ratio of Fe.sup.2+ /Zn.sup.2+ between 0.10 and 0.35, and chloride ions in a total concentration of at least 6.0 mol/l under electrolytic conditions: pH 1.0-6.0, current density 80-200 A/dm.sup.2, and relative flow velocity 30-200 m/min. The bath may further contain a polycarboxylic acid such as citric acid and a Zn-Fe-P alloy plating may be deposited when the bath further contains hypophosphorous acid.

    摘要： Dynamically partially cured composition comprising a peroxide-curable olefin copolymer rubber (such as EDPM) and a peroxide-decomposing olefin plastic (such as PE and PP) is improved by effecting the dynamic heat-treatment with addition of a peroxide-non-curable hydrocarbon rubber (such as PIB) and/or a mineral oil softener (process oil). The dynamic heat-treatment is preferably carried out not only in the presence of an organic peroxide but also in the presence of divinyl benzene. The elastomeric composition is thermoplastic and, with or without further blending with an olefin plastic, is processable by techniques conventionally used for thermoplastic resins. This elastomer composition and blends of the elastomer composition and olefin plastic can be used for producing foamed product in combination with decomposition type foaming agent (such as azodicarbonamide).

    摘要： This invention is concerned with a tire pressure drop audible warning-giving apparatus, which is provided in an air chamber defined by a pneumatic tire and a wheel rim assembled with the pneumatic tire so as to strike the wheel rim for emitting an alarming sound when a tire inner pressure is dropped in the air chamber below an allowable limit. The apparatus comprises in combination: a securing member secured to the wheel rim; a blow hammer provided spacedly from the securing member in the direction perpendicular to the radial direction of the wheel rim; and a connecting member made of a resilient material and having one end connected with the radially outer end of the securing member and the other end connected with the blow hammer; wherein the blow hammer has at its radially outer end a protrusion extending radially outwardly from the radially outer end of the connecting member, and at its radially inner end a blow portion.

    摘要： A magnetic head slider includes a magnetic head mounting surface, a slider rail surface, a step air bearing surface, and a negative pressure groove. The magnetic head mounting surface is arranged in a center area with respect to a width of the slider near an air flow-out edge on the slider and mounts a magnetic head. The slider rail surface has a first depth from the magnetic head mounting surface and its width on an air flow-in side for the magnetic head is wider that its width on an air flow-out side for the magnetic head. The step air bearing surface is formed on an air flow-in side of the slider rail surface and has a second depth from the slider rail surface. The negative-pressure groove which formed on an air flow-in side of the step air bearing surface and has a third depth from the step air bearing surface.

The magnetic head comprises four substantially parallel surfaces, and the depth from a first surface, which is the most adjacent surface to the magnetic disk, to a second surface is 10 nm to 50 nm, the depth from the second surface to a third surface is 50 nm to 200 nm, and the depth from the third surface to a fourth surface is 400 nm to 1 &mgr;m.

    摘要： The present invention is directed toward anionic polymerization employing lithio aldimines mixed with an organic alkali metal compound and optionally, a chelating reagent. The lithio aldimines have the general formula (A)Li, where A is derived from a substituted aldimine. The invention is also directed toward polymers and other products made using the initiator, and methods therefor. Further, the invention contemplates a polymer, a polymer composition and products therefrom, which include a functional group from the reaction product of a substituted aldimine and an organolithium compound. The resulting polymers may be modified with a terminating, coupling or linking agent, which may provide the polymer with a multifunctionality.
