Abstract:
A pressure-detecting sensor that includes a piezoelectric sensor, a rectangular plate member, and an attaching member. The piezoelectric sensor is attached to the plate member via the attaching member so that the piezoelectric sensor is located in the vicinity of an end of the plate member in the longitudinal direction of the plate member, and such that the longitudinal direction of the piezoelectric sensor is parallel to the transverse direction of the plate member. The attaching member is composed of a sticky agent having an elastic constant of 106 Pa or lower. The piezoelectric sensor has a shape having aspect ratio of 2.5 or higher.
Abstract:
A detecting sensor is disclosed that includes position detection electrodes provided on a surface of a board which has flexibility, and are provided at a distance in a planar direction. Furthermore, the detecting sensor includes an insulator film provided on the surface of the board that covers the electrodes; pressing force detection electrodes provided on a back surface of the board; and a pressing force detection electrode provided to oppose to the electrodes with a gap therebetween. Consequently, it is possible to provide the detecting sensor that can reliably receive a user's input operation and precisely detect a pressing position and a pressing force.
Abstract:
A pressing force sensor that includes a flat membrane piezoelectric element and a support. The flat membrane piezoelectric element includes a piezoelectric sheet having a piezoelectric constant. A first electrode is formed on a first main surface of the piezoelectric sheet and a second electrode is formed on a second main surface thereof. Long directions of the first electrode and the second electrode and a uniaxial stretching direction of the piezoelectric sheet form an angle of 45°. An opening portion having an elliptical section is formed on the support. The flat membrane piezoelectric element abuts the opening portion of the support. The support and the flat membrane piezoelectric element are disposed such that the opening portion is included within an area of the second electrode.
Abstract:
A displacement sensor having a rectangular shaped elastic member. A piezoelectric element is attached to a first main face of the elastic member. The piezoelectric element has a rectangular-shaped piezoelectric sheet and electrodes on both main faces of the piezoelectric sheet. The piezoelectric sheet is made of poly-L-lactic acid and is at least uniaxially-stretched. The piezoelectric element is attached so that the uniaxial-stretching direction of the piezoelectric sheet is 45° relative to a long-side direction of the elastic member. When the elastic member is bent along the long-side direction, the piezoelectric sheet is stretched along the long-side direction, and the piezoelectric element generates voltage of predetermined level.
Abstract:
A pressing force sensor that includes an expandable and contractible film, pressing force detecting resistor membranes formed on a portion of a main surface of the film, and a support disposed along the main surface of the film. The support is provided with recesses or holes with openings located in areas where the pressing force detecting resistor membranes on the main surface of the film are located. In the pressing force sensor, when a pressing force is exerted on the main surface of the film, the film is expanded with a pressing force detecting resistor membrane. As a result, the pressing force detecting resistor membrane is deformed, and a change in resistance value of the pressing force detecting resistor membrane corresponding to the deformation is detected.

A pressing sensor that includes a piezoelectric polymer film having a top principal surface and a back principal surface opposed to each other, and whose piezoelectric polymer is oriented along the top principal surface and the back principal surface; a first detection electrode disposed opposite the top principal surface of the piezoelectric polymer film; and a second detection electrode disposed opposite the back principal surface of the piezoelectric polymer film and opposing the first detection electrode. A first shape of the piezoelectric polymer film as viewed from the top principal surface and a second shape of the piezoelectric polymer film as viewed from the back principal surface differ from each other.
Abstract:
A piezoelectric speaker that includes a configuration in which a first piezoelectric speaker and a second piezoelectric speaker are respectively arranged adjacent primary surfaces of a plate-shaped base member. The first piezoelectric speaker and the second piezoelectric speaker have the same arrangement, and respective individual piezoelectric elements thereof are arranged so as to correspond to each other when viewed from the direction orthogonal to the primary surfaces of the base member. The first and second piezoelectric speakers include a piezoelectric polymer sheet and electrode patterns of substantially the same shape on both surfaces of the polymer sheet. According to this arrangement, plural individual piezoelectric elements are aligned with each other. A single type of acoustic driving signal is supplied to these plural individual piezoelectric elements in a synchronized manner.

A pressing sensor is provided that includes a first sensor element that outputs a voltage corresponding to an amount of displacement in shape of a receiving unit that receives a press operation; a press operation determining unit that determines whether the receiving unit is in a state of receiving a press operation; and a setting unit that, after elapse of a first prescribed time from a point of time at which the press operation determining unit determines that the receiving unit has received a press operation, sets an absolute value of a threshold that is smaller than an absolute value of the threshold before elapse of the first prescribed time, the absolute value of the threshold representing a difference from a ground voltage value for determining whether the receiving unit has ended reception of the press operation.
