Abstract: A genetic characteristic estimation device (2000) acquires genetic mutation information (30) and position information (40). The genetic mutation information (30) indicates information regarding a genetic mutation in a deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) sequence of a target cell (20) obtained from a target organism (10). In the position information (40), a position on the DNA sequence is associated with the type of a cell or the type of an organ. The genetic characteristic estimation device (2000) determines a genetic mutation at the position associated with the type of the target cell (20) or the type of an organ including the target cell (20) in the position information (40) from among genetic mutations indicated by the genetic mutation information (30), and computes a genetic characteristic index value representing a genetic characteristic of the target organism (10) based on a characteristic of the determined genetic mutation.

Abstract: Provided are an information processing device, a display method, and a program which enable easy recognition of the discrepancy between the detection result by detection processing for an image captured by an endoscope and the detection result by a user.
An information processing device (1) includes: a first acquisition unit (2) configured to acquire a capturing time of a lesion image instructed to be saved by a user, from a series of images captured by an endoscope during examination with the endoscope; a second acquisition unit (3) configured to acquire a capturing time of a lesion image detected by detection processing for the series of images captured by the endoscope during the examination; and a display control unit (4) configured to cause a display device to display a first capturing time and a second capturing time which are plotted on a time axis, the first capturing time being the capturing time acquired by the first acquisition unit (2), the second capturing time being the capturing time acquired by the second acquisition unit (3).

Abstract: Provided is a diagnostic assistance system whereby it is possible to allocate to highly skilled pathologists boundary region tissue specimens whereupon a malign/benign determination is difficult. The diagnostic assistance system includes: an input element for receiving an input of a degree of malignancy of a tissue specimen; a storage element for associating and storing a diagnostician with the degree of skill thereof; and a control element for, when the degree of malignancy is an intermediate value, querying the storage element and determining the diagnostician with the degree of degree of skill which is greater than or equal to a reference value.
