Abstract: A system for additive manufacturing includes a multi-material vat that includes a plurality of resins. The system also includes a robotic arm that provides at least six degrees of freedom of motion, where the robotic arm moves with the six degrees of freedom to draw resin out of the multi-material vat to form an object. The system further comprises a processor operatively coupled to the robotic arm and configured to control movement of the robotic arm in the six degrees of freedom.

Abstract: Photonic devices are provided comprising a photoactive layer and at least one additional layer, wherein a surface of the photoactive layer or a surface of the at least one additional layer has imprinted thereon a quasi-random pattern of nanostructures corresponding to a quasi-random pattern of nanostructures defined in a recording layer of a pre-written optical media disc. Abstract: Certain examples disclose systems and methods for imaging a target. An example method includes: a) activating a subset of light-emitting molecules in a wide field area of a target using an excitation light; b) capturing one or more images of the light emitted from the subset of the molecules illuminated with the excitation light; c) localizing one or more activated light emitting molecules using one or more single molecule microscopic methods to obtain localization information; d) simultaneously capturing spectral information for the same localized activated light emitting molecules using one or more spectroscopic methods; e) resolving one or more non-diffraction limited images of the area of the target using a combination of the localization and spectral information for the localized activated light emitting molecules; and 0 displaying the one or more non-diffraction limited images.

Abstract: Methods of patterning a layer of a photonic device are provided using stamps or masks derived from pre-written optical media discs. One method comprises pressing a stamp on a surface of a layer of a photonic device, the stamp comprising a stamping surface which defines a negative replica of a quasi-random pattern of nanostructures defined in a recording layer of a pre-written optical media disc, for a period of time sufficient to imprint the quasi-random pattern of nanostructures defined in the recording layer of the pre-written optical media disc onto the surface of the layer of the photonic device; and removing the stamp. The stamps, the masks, and the photonic devices comprising the patterned layers are also provided.
