Abstract: It is provided a method, including checking if an overlapping transmission is restricted to an overlapping transmission of a transmission of a first type and a transmission of a second type; splitting, if the overlapping transmission is restricted, an overall symbol allocation table into a first type symbol allocation table including the symbol allocations related to the transmission of the first type and into a second type symbol allocation table including the symbol allocations related to the transmission of the second type; separately pruning the first type symbol allocation table and the second type symbol allocation table in order to obtain one or more second type occasions for the transmission of the respective type; monitoring, for each of a first resource and a second resource different from the first resource and for each of the first type occasions and for each of the second type occasions, if a respective transmission is successfully received; acknowledging in a codebook the respective transmission if the respective transmission is successfully received.

Abstract: According to an aspect, there is provided a terminal device configured to perform the following. Initially, the terminal device monitors physical downlink control channel, PDCCH, transmissions according to a first set of rules. The first set of rules comprises rules for performing monitoring over at least two beam pair links, each beam pair link corresponding to a control resource set, CORESET, with a different active transmission configuration indication, TCI, state. The terminal device receives, using a first CORESET with a first active TCI state from an access node, an indication for limiting monitoring and consequently limits monitoring of PDCCH transmissions associated with CORESETs having a TCI state other than the first active TCI state for a period of time.

Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for blind physical broadcast channel detection for narrowband new radio. The method may include detecting at least one synchronization signal. The method may also include determining, in response to detecting the synchronization signal, whether one or more predefined conditions of a user equipment have been met. At least one candidate pattern of a physical broadcast channel may be determined when the one or more predefined conditions have been met. Based on a determination of whether the physical broadcast channel was correctly received, a system information block physical downlink control channel may be received with the at least one candidate pattern of the physical broadcast channel, or the at least one candidate pattern of the physical broadcast channel may be modified.

The timing adjustment granularity may be determined implicitly based on one or more multiple numerology assigned to a timing advance group. The method may also include applying at the user equipment the indicated timing adjustment granularity associated with one of the multiple numerologies.

Abstract: A cellular communication system comprising a plurality of user equipment and a network infrastructure. Radio resource of the plurality of cells is divided into more than one radio resource groups. A network infrastructure element detects a requirement of radio resource allocation for a user equipment and determines effective interference to be generated by the required radio resource to a defined group of neighboring cells. User equipment is allocated a radio resource from one of the radio resource groups on the basis of the determined effective interference to be generated to the defined group of neighboring cells. Inter-cell interference decreases and the throughput of the cellular system increases, but the exchange of physical layer information is not increased.
