    Abstract: A method includes detecting (205), in a first communications apparatus, the number of failed code blocks in a transport block transmitted to the first apparatus from a second apparatus and a corresponding feedback size indicator. The feedback size indicator is received in the first apparatus from the second apparatus e.g. via control channel signalling. Alternatively, the feedback size indicator is received in the transport block. The first apparatus selects the format of a HARQ feedback message to be generated based on the feedback size indicator, and generates the feedback message based on the number of failed code blocks in the transport block. The generated feedback message is of the selected format and indicates the failed code blocks in the transport block. The first apparatus transmits the generated feed back message to the second apparatus.

    Abstract: An apparatus, method and computer program is described comprising: generating a local outage time database for a first cell of a mobile communication system, wherein the local outage time database stores first latency data for each of a plurality of devices served by the first cell, wherein each first latency data comprises time left to outage data for the respective device; sending selected parts of the local outage time database to one or more other cells of the mobile communication network; receiving second latency data from at least one of the one or more other cells of the mobile communication system, wherein said second latency data includes time left to outage data for one or more devices served by said other cells; and generating a multi-cell outage time database including some or all of the shared selected parts of the local outage time database and some or all of the received second latency data.

    Abstract: The present invention introduces a method and a system for base station cross-channel measurement control and configuration. A centralized unit (CU) (301, 601) of a base station configures (304, 305) at least two distributed units (DU) (302, 303, 602, 604) with DU sounding signaling transmission objects and DU cross-link measurement objects. The first DU (302) transmits (306) a sounding signal through an air interface (308) which the second DU (303) measures (307). The second DU (303) reports (309) this to the CU (301). Then the second DU (303) transmits (311) a sounding signal through an air interface (312) which the first DU (302) measures (310). The first DU (302) reports (313) this to the CU (301). Beam-forming can be applied as well. Also neighboring operators can be found by inter-frequency measurements of the sounding signals or Synchronization Signals. The CU (301, 601) can control the DUs (302, 303, 602, 604) with appropriate TDD switching patterns based on the found cross-link interference levels.

The example method includes receiving, an indication from a network node, the indication instructing the user equipment (UE) to discard protocol data units (PDUs) that are buffered at one or more associated protocol entities at the user equipment (UE). The method further includes discarding,in response to receiving the indication, the protocol data units (PDUs) that are buffered at the one or more associated protocol entities.
