    摘要: Devices that measure the electron density in a body by means of radiation scattered from a narrow pencil beam of penetrating radiation directed through the body, produce defective images on reconstruction of the density distribution because of multiple scattering of radiation. This can of course be reduced by scattered ray diaphragms, but cannot be eliminated entirely. The invention therefore provides a means for detecting the size of the multiple scattered radiation component be measurement. For this purpose, the detector array which measures radiation including the single scattered radiation, is screened, at least osscasionally, from the single scattered radiation and the detected intensity values measured by the detector elements when so screened, are used to correct the values generated by measuring the detected radiation including the single scattered radiation.

    摘要: The invention relates to a computer tomography apparatus for determining the absorption distribution in a relevant zone of a body, this zone being irradiated by unattenuated radiation, while the part of the body which is situated outside this zone is irradiated at the most by attenuated radiation. The radiation outside the relevant zone is attenuated in accordance with the invention by means of absorber pieces which are moved to and fro during an examination in a direction parallel to the rotary shaft around which the X-ray source is rotated. As a result, the intensity of the radiation is modulated in the time outside the zone, so that on average it is attenuated, without giving rise to hardening effects.

    摘要: A measuring and/or tracing device is of the kind having a vertical column, a transverse sliding unit secured to the column and movable in a vertical direction, a cross arm held by said unit and movable horizontally, a holder on the end of the said cross arm for a measuring and/or tracing tool, and a counterweight being disposed inside the column so that it can move freely and being attached to the transverse sliding unit by a cable passing over a guide roller at the upper end of the column. The improvement comprises a safety braking device attached to the transverse sliding unit and acting in conjunction with external surfaces of the column, to which braking device the cable is secured, and which in consequence of the cable tension exerted, is held in a disengaged position out of contact with the outer surfaces of the column, but which, when the cable tension falls, drops automatically into the braking position and engages by gripping rollers or balls with the outer surfaces of the column, thereby preventing movement.

The fuel accumulator of every pilot unit is so adapted that it ensures that fuel delivered by the fuel pump is supplied to the respective associated fuel injection device in a pressure-stable manner.
