摘要: An image processing system and a projector project a calibration image onto a projection target, sense the calibration image to generate sensing information, and generate projection target region information based on the sensing information. The system and projector generate projection area information based on the sensing information, image distortion correction information based on the projection target region information and the projection area information, and correct an image signal based on the image distortion correction information so that image distortion is corrected. The system and projector project an image based on the image signal corrected by the distortion correction section, determine a first height/width ratio that indicates a height/width ratio of the projection target, generate the image distortion correction information to display an image at a first height/width ratio range and display an image at a desired height/width ratio when the first height/width ratio is not within the acceptable range.

摘要: Provided is an ONU that suppresses transmission of a useless multicast control message to a PON section and enables a communication bandwidth of the PON section to be effectively used. The ONU of the PON system has a multicast group management table that shows a correspondence between a multicast group identifier and an address of a user terminal participating in a multicast group. When the ONU receives a request message of participation in the multicast group from the user terminal, the ONU registers the correspondence between the multicast group identifier indicated by the received message and the user terminal address. A new received message is deleted without being sent to the OLT if another user terminal address is registered already, along with a correspondence with the same multicast group identifier, in the multicast group management table.

摘要: A PON system capable of utilizing the bandwidth of an optical transmission channel in the PON section. In a PON system including an OLT and a plurality of ONUs, the OLT has: a downstream frame processing unit that removes at least part of the header information in a layer 2 header from a downstream frame received from a wide area network, and converts the remaining frame portion into a frame having a header specific to the PON section; and a downstream frame processing unit that extracts a downstream frame portion to be transferred to a user terminal, from a received frame from a PON, and adds the layer 2 header information deleted in the OLT.

摘要: Pharmaceutical compositions containing adrenomedullin antagonist peptides, DNA, RNA compounds inhibitory on adrenomedullin activity, resulting in the efficient blockade of the induction of macroangiogenesis or vasculogenesis of more than 8 μm (in case of murine models), suppress the proliferation of cancer cells due to that inhibitory effect and suppress the protective activity of adrenomedullin. Accordingly, the pharmaceutical compositions of the present invention described herein can be used to treat various cancers, including, but not limited to, stomach cancer, colorectal cancer, lung cancer, ovarian cancer, liver cancer, and pancreatic cancer. Pharmaceutical compositions containing adrenomedullin expression vectors described herein induce macroangiogenesis and, accordingly are effective in treating cardiovascular and renal diseases such as congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, hypertension, chronic renal failure, stroke, diabetes mellitus, and septic shock.

摘要: The carbon fibers of the present invention have a polymer having polar groups and groups capable of reacting with a matrix resin deposited on the fiber surfaces. The carbon fibers can be produced by depositing a monomer having both polar groups and groups capable of reacting with the matrix resin or a mixture of a monomer having polar groups and a monomer having groups capable of reacting with the matrix resin onto the fiber surface and heating to polymerize the monomer(s) forming a polymer having polar groups and groups capable of reacting with a matrix resin. The resultant fibers have excellent adhesion properties to the matrix resin and are unlikely to cause fluffing and fiber breakage.

摘要: There is disclosed a prepreg including noncircular cross-section carbon fibers and a matrix resin having a flexural elastic modulus of 2.7 GPa or more and a water absorption of 3.4% or less under hot-wet conditions after curing; and another prepreg including carbon fibers and a matrix resin having an open-hole compression strength under hot-wet conditions and a compression strength after impact under room-temperature conditions of a quasi-isotropic material after curing of each 275 MPa or more. Carbon fiber-reinforced composite materials produced by curing these prepregs are excellent in open-hole compression strength under hot-wet conditions and in compression strength after impact, and can be suitably used especially as an aircraft primary structure material.
