    Abstract: This invention discloses a mesh network comprised of at least two dynamic mesh nodes, wherein the two dynamic mesh nodes comprise each a multiple radio access technology architecture, the multiple radio access technology architecture comprising: at least two radio access technologies for providing access to a core network, and an abstraction layer communicatively coupled to the at least two radio access technologies for receiving and converting data into protocol agnostic data, wherein the first and second dynamic mesh nodes are configured to: in response to a query regarding environmental conditions from a computing cloud component, send an environmental condition to the computing cloud component, receive an instruction from the computing cloud in response to the computing cloud component having processed the environmental condition, and change an operational parameter in response to the received instruction.

    Abstract: In this invention, we disclose methods for enabling ad hoc cellular base station functionality within a user equipment when the connection quality between a base station and the user equipment is limited or nonexistent. These methods include measuring a connection quality between a user equipment and its serving base station. If the connection quality is below a threshold, the user equipment can enable its internal ad hoc cellular base station functionality. This is done by running a software within the user equipment that (a) checks the connection quality periodically, and (b) enables ad hoc cellular base station functionality of the connection threshold dips below a certain value. In one embodiment, that threshold could be the same threshold value that a user equipment would use if it were making a decision to handoff to another base station based on poor connection quality.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for a self-calibrating and self-adjusting network are disclosed. A method is disclosed, comprising: receiving mobile device measurement reports from a mobile device at a gateway situated between a radio access network (RAN) and a core network via a base station in the RAN; determining a location of the mobile device at a measurement time of the mobile device measurement reports; associating the location with the mobile device measurement reports into a measurement record; storing a plurality of measurement records obtained over a time period and over multiple mobile devices; and providing query access to the plurality of measurement records by retrieving results corresponding to a a plurality of search parameters transmitted to the gateway.
