Abstract: Independent ranging sessions that are initiated by multiple initiating user equipments (UEs) are detected and combined into a single combined ranging session to reduce overhead. The independent ranging sessions may be determined to be nearby and concurrent when a UE detects a number of ranging cycles within a predetermined time. The UE may send messages to each initiator UE indicating that the ranging sessions should be combined and the initiator UEs will terminated initiating any further ranging sessions. Combined ranging session may be initiated by the UE and may include all of the participating UEs from the independent ranging sessions. The combined ranging session continues until it is determined that one or more UEs in the combined ranging session are not receiving ranging signals from other UEs.

In some aspects, a wireless communication device may transmit an announcement that indicates a plurality of future resource reservations. The wireless communication device may transmit multiple sets of announcements that indicate one or more reservations and may vary the transmission frequency thereof based on proximity to the communications. The wireless communication device may transmit an announcement that indicates a future communication and a cancellation indication that indicates a cancellation of the communication. The wireless communication device may transmit a preemption indication that indicates that resources reserved for an announced future communication have been preempted for another communication. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for regulating a size of a resource information forwarding message to balance the overhead associated with transmitting the resource information forwarding message with the usefulness of the resource information forwarding message. A first user equipment (UE) may receive a sidelink control information (SCI) message from a third UE indicating resources reserved by the third UE, and it may be appropriate for the first UE to transmit a resource information forwarding message to a second UE indicating the resources reserved by the third UE. As such, the first UE may determine a maximum size of the resource information forwarding message, and the first UE may generate and transmit the resource information forwarding message to the second UE in accordance with the determined maximum size.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for managing timing for inter-user equipment (UE) coordination to prevent or minimize interference or collisions between sidelink transmissions. A first UE may determine a time window in which to select sidelink resources for an inter-UE coordination message based on a minimum time configured for selecting the sidelink resources. The minimum time configured for selecting the sidelink resources for the inter-UE coordination message may be different from a minimum time configured for selecting sidelink resources for other sidelink messages. The first UE may then select the sidelink resources in the time window for the inter-UE coordination message and transmit the inter-UE coordination message on the selected sidelink resources to the second UE over a sidelink.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for reducing inter-vehicle interference. In certain aspects, a method performed by a first vehicle may include detecting a second vehicle is in proximity of the first vehicle, determining that the second vehicle includes an intra-vehicle, obtaining resource allocation information associated with the intra-vehicle network of the second vehicle, the resource allocation information indicating a first set of resources allocated to one or more first sensors of the second vehicle located at least in a first portion of the second vehicle, determining that the first set of resources conflict with a second set of resources allocated to one or more first sensors of the first vehicle located in at least a first portion of the first vehicle, and performing one or more actions to resolve the determined conflict between the first set of resources and the second set of resources.

Abstract: Improved communications, including indication of channel occupancy time-structure information (COT-SI) for NR-U sidelink (NR-U SL) operations is disclosed. A UE may establish a current channel occupancy time (COT) on a shared communication spectrum for UE transmissions in response to a successful listen before talk (LBT) procedure. The UE may then generates a COT structure information (COT-SI) message including at least a remaining duration of the current COT and a set of time and frequency resources of the current COT. The COT-SI message may be transmitted by the UE to one or more neighboring UEs via sidelink transmission. Once the COT-SI message is sent, the UE transmits the UE transmission within the set of time and frequency resource of the current COT.

Abstract: Disclosed are some examples of techniques for ranging and positioning of distributed devices to avoid local and/or periodic interference. For example, an initiator user equipment (UE) can broadcast a positioning reference signal (PRS) message of a current positioning session to responder UEs. One or more characteristics of PRS transmission associated with a first responder UE in the current positioning session can be determined. Based on the characteristic(s), interference with the first responder UE can be identified, which can cause the initiator UE to change the broadcast order of the responder UEs for a next positioning session.

Abstract: A non-geosynchronous satellite system, where each satellite has an antenna (perhaps a multi-element antenna) to form a beam pattern comprising a set of beams in the footprint of the satellite, where in one implementation each beam is substantially elliptical in shape having a minor axis and a major axis, where the minor axes are substantially collinear and the major axes are substantially oriented east to west. For a satellite, power is reduced or turned off for a subset of the set of beams, wherein each beam in the subset is reduced at or below a corresponding power level such that when a beam is powered above its corresponding power level an equivalent power flux-density (EPFD) exceeds a limit at some point on the Earth's surface.
