摘要： An instrument for achieving rapid hemostasis at the conclusion of a catheterization procedure comprising a hemostatic agent injection device for use with a conventional introducer sheath used to gain access to the blood vessel. The injection device includes an elongated tubular member having ejection ports proximate its distal end. A hub member includes an elongated groove or track located in its surface with a transparent cover. The enclosed track is sealed from the lumen extending through the tubular member with a compliant membrane and filled with a predetermined amount of fluid. After the catheterization procedure, the device is inserted into the introducer sheath. Blood flows into the lumen of the device and pulsates against the compliant membrane. The fluid in the track pulsates within the enclosed track, clearly indicating that the ports are located in the blood vessel and subjected to variations in blood pressure. The instrument and introducer sheath are then slowly retracted as a unit in the puncture wound. The blood flow will stop pulsating against the compliant membrane when the ports have exited the blood vessel wall. A hemostatic agent is then injected by the instrument adjacent the vessel wall.

The register is configured for identifying a product, indicating one or more enhancements available for the product, and receiving indication of a selected enhancement from the customer. The contactless read/write terminal is in communication with the register and configured for receiving a PEA (product creation authorization) token for the selected enhancement, validating the PEA token and executing the enhancement of the product via an RFID tag coupled to the product, generating an audit record of the enhancement of the product, and sending the audit record from the contactless POS terminal to the central server.

The system includes: a housing configured to contain a product; a power module that provides electrical power; an electronic paper display module that visually displays images; an operating module that controls image displays; a memory module that stores images; an activation module that selectably restricts power consumption; a transceiver module that transmits and receives signals, and alters an image display upon receipt of a signal; a remote control module that enables a user to selectably transmit a signal; and a signal converting module that alters a state of a signal. The method steps include: providing a product; coupling a product display system to the product; subscribing to at least one of a plurality of image content providers; receiving a wireless signal from an image content provider; converting a signal to an image; storing an image; displaying an image; and deleting a displayed image.

摘要： Methods, systems, and computer-readable media are provided for displaying high resolution content generated by a securely hosted application program for the exploration and production of geologic resources on a thin client system in a client/server computer network. A user interface is presented for accessing the application program which is hosted on a server. After the application program is selected, a least utilized node in the client/server computer network is determined for executing the selected application program via the thin client system. Images generated by the executed application program are packaged into a remote access application server display protocol and displayed as high resolution images on the thin client system. The high resolution images may be displayed on multiple displays associated with the thin client system.
