摘要: A method and apparatus of an unintrusive plug and play application virtualization platform is disclosed. In one embodiment, a method includes capturing dependencies of an application program associated with a host system, directly replicating to a removable device the application program, a desktop environment of the host system, and the dependencies and resurrecting the dependencies to run the application program under the desktop environment agnostic to a guest operating system (OS) of a guest system while the removable device is coupled to the guest system. The method may also include duplicating a desktop element of the host system to the desktop environment of the removable device. In addition, the method may include storing a user name and a password associated with the removable device to access the desktop environment when the removable device is coupled to the guest system.

摘要: Apparatus which is capable of providing efficient cooling of rack mounted electronic modules while accommodating relatively large tolerances in the mounting of the modules. A plurality of thermally conductive sliding wedge blocks are interposed between the lower surface of each module and the upper surface of the cold plate base of the rack. The mechanism for clamping a module to the rack also pulls the wedge blocks together to fill in the gap between the lower surface of the module and the upper surface of the cold plate so as to provide a complete thermal path therebetween.

摘要: A method to increase the efficiency of a solar cell comprises depositing a pyroelectric film on a surface of the solar cell and generating an electromotive force to bias the solar cell. The method also includes creation of an open circuit voltage. Further, the method includes increasing a short circuit current through the pyroelectric film and creating a sustained temperature variation in the solar cell. A constant temporal temperate gradient is created in the pyroelectric film to increase the short circuit current with a temperature. Further, a p-n junction is biased with the electromotive force produced from the pyroelectric film.
