Abstract: An insulating glazing unit, includes at least two glass panes and a circumferential spacer profile between the at least two glass panes near edges of the at least two glass panes, for use in a window, a door, or a façade glazing, which has in each case an electrically conductive frame surrounding the edges of the insulating glazing, wherein at least one RFID transponder is attached to the insulating glazing unit as an identification element, and wherein the at least one RFID transponder is arranged at a corner of the insulating glazing unit, and wherein an end of the at least one RFID transponder pointing toward the nearest corner of the insulating glazing unit is not more than 30 cm from the nearest corner of the insulating glazing unit.

Abstract: An insulating glazing unit has at least two glass panes and a circumferential spacer profile between them near their edges, for use in a window, a door, or a façade glazing, and which has in each case a frame, in particular a metallic frame, surrounding the edges of the insulating glazing, wherein at least one RFID transponder is attached to the insulating glazing unit as an identification element, wherein the at least one transponder is arranged on an inner surface of one of the glass panes in the spaced region between the spacer profile and the edge of the glass pane.

Abstract: A vehicle window for separating a vehicle interior from outer surroundings, includes glass pane with a light guide body made of glass on a region of the interior-side surface of the glass pane, wherein the surface of the light guide body facing the glass pane and the surface facing away from the glass pane enclose a wedge angle such that the thickness of the light guide body decreases in the direction from a lower edge to an upper edge of the glass pane, wherein the light guide body is secured to the interior-side surface of the glass pane by means of laser welding.

Abstract: A vehicle composite pane with an integrated light sensor is disclosed. The vehicle composite pane includes an outer pane and an inner pane that are bonded to one another via a thermoplastic intermediate layer. A plurality of photodiodes situated on a circuit board are arranged between the outer pane and the inner pane. The photodiodes are surface-mounted device (SMD) components. The photodiodes are arranged on the circuit board as groups of parallel connected photodiodes. All groups of the parallel connected photodiodes are connected to a common electrical input and each group is connected to a separate electrical output.

Abstract: An alarm pane assembly is presented. The alarm pane assembly includes a pane made of tempered glass, a transparent, electrically conductive coating that is arranged on a surface of the pane, a sensor unit, and an antenna. According to one aspect, the sensor unit includes a transmitting unit and an evaluation unit. During operation, the transmitting unit forwards a high-frequency voltage signal with a frequency f in a range of 0.1 GHz to 6 GHz to the antenna, the antenna emits electromagnetic radiation of the frequency f, and the evaluation unit measures the impedance matching of the transmitting unit to the antenna. According to another aspect, the antenna is electromagnetically coupled to the conductive coating, and the sensor unit outputs an alarm signal when the measured impedance matching deviates from a reference value.
