The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). According to embodiments, a method performed by a distributed unit (DU), the method comprises generating a control plane (C-plane) message for multiple ports, the C-plane message including section information and a section extension; and transmitting the C-plane message to a radio unit (RU) via a specific port of the multiple ports. The section information includes information on a beam identifier (ID). The section extension includes beam group type information for indicating a type of beam grouping, and port information for indicating a total number of one or more extended antenna-carrier (eAxC) ports indicated by the section extension.

This disclosure relates to a 5G or pre-5G communication system supporting a higher data rate than a 4G communication system such as LIE. More specifically, a method for performing, by a terminal, communication in a wireless communication system of the present invention comprises: a step of performing a connection procedure for a first wireless network; a step of performing a connection procedure for a second wireless network; and a step of performing communication for the same service through the first wireless network or the second wireless network according to wireless link states of the first wireless network and the second wireless network.

The present invention relates to a method and a device for supporting a public safety network access in a wireless communication system. The method for supporting a public safety network access in a wireless communication system of the present invention comprises the steps of: transmitting a message comprising public safety net related information to a base station; determining whether a handover command is received from the base station in response to the message; and performing a handover at a frequency band which supports public safety network services.

An embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for transmitting, by a base station, information in a wireless communication system, and a base station performing the same, the method comprising the steps of: generating a system information block comprising first hysteresis information about a first type terminal, and second hysteresis information about a second type terminal; and broadcasting the generated system information block, wherein the first type terminal includes a terminal which does not provide a public safety network service, and wherein the second type terminal includes a terminal which provides a public safety network service. In addition, the present invention relates to a terminal which operates with the base station, and a method for operating the terminal.

A method and apparatus for transmitting Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service (MBMS) data for use in a Long Term Evolution (LTE) system is provided. The method includes generating information for use in determining whether a broadcast area changes on inter-cell movement of a terminal, generating a system information block (SIB) including the generated information, and broadcasting the SIM.
