Abstract: A display device may include a pixel disposed in a display area. The pixel may include first and second electrodes; a light emitting element disposed between the first and second electrodes; a first insulating pattern disposed on the light emitting element such that first and second ends of the light emitting element are exposed; a second insulating pattern disposed on the first insulating pattern such that ends of the first insulating pattern are exposed; a third insulating pattern disposed on the second insulating pattern and overlapping ends of the second insulating pattern; a first contact electrode disposed on the first end of the light emitting element, and electrically connecting the first end of the light emitting element to the first electrode; and a second contact electrode disposed on the second end of the light emitting element and electrically connecting the second end to the second electrode.

Abstract: A display device may include a substrate including a display area and a non-display area; and pixels provided in the display area, each of the plurality of pixels comprising sub-pixels. Each of the plurality of sub-pixels may include a pixel circuit layer including at least one transistor, and a display element layer including an emission area and a peripheral area, a first electrode provided in the emission area, a second electrode spaced apart from the first electrode, at least one light emitting element provided in the emission area, and including a first end electrically connected to the first electrode, and a second end electrically connected to the second electrode; a first connection line provided in the peripheral area; and a bridge pattern provided in the peripheral area, and diverging from the first connection line. The bridge pattern may be electrically disconnected from each of the first and second electrodes.

Abstract: A light emitting device includes: a substrate; a first electrode on the substrate; a metal member on the first electrode and having a cavity; a first insulating layer on the metal member and exposing the cavity therethrough; a bar-type LED having a first end portion and a second end portion; and a second electrode on the first insulating layer. The first end portion of the bar-type LED is in the cavity and electrically connected to the first electrode, and the second end portion of the bar-type LED protrudes outside of the cavity and is electrically connected to the second electrode.
