摘要: An image processor, a display device including the same, and a method for driving display panel using the same are disclosed. In one aspect, the display device includes an image shifter configured to shift a data signal by at least one pixel based at least in part on a shift start signal and output the shifted data signal and a shift direction signal. The display device also includes an image buffer configured to output current data and previous data based at least in part on the shifted data signal and the shift direction signal. The display device also includes an image mixer configured to mix the current data and the previous data over M frames starting at a start frame when the shift start signal is received and output image data, M being a natural number.

摘要: A method of driving a display panel is provided. The method includes generating first compensated and second compensated data based on input image data, outputting the first compensated data to a data driver during a first frame, outputting the first smoothing data to the data driver during a second frame subsequent to the first frame, and outputting the second compensated data to the data driver during an n-th frame subsequent to the second frame (where n is a natural number greater than two). The first smoothing data has a value between a value of the first compensated data and a value of the second compensated data.

摘要: A method of driving a display panel is proposed. The method includes determining whether an input image data represents a video image or a static image, determining whether an image transition occurs in the input image data when the input image data represents the static image, and inserting a plurality of image sticking compensation frames between normal frames in a low frequency driving when the image transition occurs in the input image data between the normal frames. The number of the image sticking compensation frame may be properly adjusted during a cycle of low frequency driving.

摘要: An image display control unit in a three-dimensional image display apparatus is configured to drive gate lines and the data lines so as to provide the display panel with a left eye image signal during a first frame in which a right eye image signal is displayed on the display panel, and with the right eye image signal during a second frame in which the left eye image signal is displayed on the display panel. During the first frame, each of the pixels provides a second capacitor with the right eye image signal, and a first capacitor with the left eye image signal. During the second frame, each of the pixels provides the first capacitor with the right eye image signal, and the second capacitor with the left eye image signal. A backlight unit maintains a turn-on state during the first and second frames.

The plurality of gate lines extend in a second direction parallel with the plurality of pixel rows. The gate lines each connect to at least one pixel included in a single pixel row. At least two gate lines are disposed between two adjacent pixel rows. The gate driver generates signals to drive the plurality of gate lines. The plurality of terminals receives the gate signals to transmit the gate signals to the plurality of gate lines. Some of the terminals connect with some gate lines having a cross-coupled structure.

摘要: A display device is disclosed. In one aspect, the display device includes a display panel divided into first and second display parts. The display device also includes a first driving circuit configured to receive a driving voltage, generate a first gamma reference voltage based on the driving voltage, generate a first data signal based on the first gamma reference voltage, and apply the first data signal to the first display part. The display device further includes a second driving circuit configured to apply a second data signal to the second display part and a first share line disposed on the display panel. The first share line is configured to receive the first gamma reference voltage. The second driving circuit is further configured to receive the first gamma reference voltage from the first share line and generate the second data signal based on the first gamma reference voltage.
