    摘要: An internal combustion engine has a mechanical super-charger in a conduit connecting the engine with a source of air for compressing the air in the conduit. A bypass passage connected to the conduit on opposite sides of the super-charger compressor is selectively closed by a pressure regulating valve having a valve member movable in response to a pressure differential on opposite sides of a diaphragm member. The diaphragm member is sensitive to a pressure change in the conduit occurring in response to movement of the throttle valve, and causes the valve member to open and reduce the load on the super-charger compressor when the throttle valve is closed.

    摘要: A combined compressor and pump has two parallel shafts journalled in a housing having a compressible fluid inlet and a compressible fluid outlet. Rotors are mounted on each of the shafts for forming a roots type compressor and compressing fluid from the compressible fluid inlet. One shaft of the compressor, which forms a supercharger for an engine, is driven by the engine, and the other shaft is driven in synchronization therewith by a pair of meshing gears mounted on the shafts, the meshing gears being constructed so as to form a gear pump. A coolant circulates within a coolant jacket in the housing and is circulated by the gear pump. The heated coolant may be circulated through a closed loop including a heat exchanger and a bypass passage for bypassing the heat exchanger during low temperature operating conditions.

    摘要: A polyphonic, keyboard-type electronic musical instrument capable of automatic production, in response to key depressions on upper and lower keyboards, of "fill notes" which bear the same note names as the depressed lower keys but which, preferably, fall within an octave below the lowest pressed upper key at every moment. The instrument is of the type wherein each depressed key is coded into key data in accordance with a binary "key code" composed of a note code and an octave code. The note code identifies the note name of each key, whereas the octave code identifies the octave to which the key belongs. Upon depression of a key on each of the upper and lower keyboards, the note-coded data derived from the key date representative of the depressed lower key are combined with the octave-coded data derived from the key data representative of the depressed upper key if the note name of the depressed lower key is below that of the depressed upper key. If the depressed lower key is of a note name above that of the depressed upper key, on the other hand, then the note-coded data of the depressed lower key are combined with octave-coded data indicative of an octave just below that of the depressed upper key. The key-coded fill-note data thus formed are fed into a multichannel tone generator circuit, along with the key data representative of the depressed upper and lower keys.

    摘要: A control system for controlling spark timing of the engine is to control the retarding of the spark timing at the time of accelerating in anticipation. The amount of retarding the spark timing at the time of accelerating is set larger when the torque converter is provided in a driving system of the engine than when no torque converter is provided. A preferred feature is such that the amount of retarding the spark timing at the time of accelerating is set so as to be decreased gradually from its given initial value and that the retarding of the spark timing is suspended when the retarding amount reaches a value smaller than a given reset value. Both the initial value and the reset value are set to be greater when the torque converter is equipped than those when no torque converter is equipped.

    摘要: An electronic musical instrument with an automatic chord performance device is of a type in which chord tones of plural series of different tone colors in different rhythm patterns are produced. This instrument employs a memory for storing a plurality of patterns per one rhythm and for plural rhythms in order to simultaneously obtain the chord tones of plural series per one rhythm. The patterns are read from the memory as tone generation timing signals. These tone generation timing signals control the amplitudes of the envelopes of the chord tone signals.
