    摘要： A magnetic sensor uses a magnetoresistance element which can be driven in a stable manner with a dipole irrespective of a polarity of an external magnetic field. A resistance value R of first magnetoresistance elements varies, and a resistance value of second magnetoresistance elements does not vary with a variation in magnetic field magnitude of the external magnetic field H1 in the positive direction. A resistance value R of second magnetoresistance elements varies and a resistance value of first magnetoresistance elements does not vary with a variation in magnetic field magnitude of the external magnetic field H2 in the negative direction. Accordingly, the magnetic sensor can be driven in a stable manner with a dipole irrespective of the polarity of the external magnetic field.

    摘要： A die pickup apparatus including a wafer sheet push-up unit provided inside a suction stage that suction-holds a wafer sheet having thereon dies. The wafer sheet push-up unit is made of push-up members, and the inner most push-up member is connected to a linking up-and-down moving shaft, so that when the linking up-and-down moving shaft is raised, the outer most push-up member in contact with the linking up-and-down moving shaft is raised, raising telescopically the inner push-up members. The outermost push-up member has a stopper that is adjustable in its up-and-down positions and comes into contact with the suction stage to stop the rising motion of the outermost push-up member, and the next inner side push-up member has its own stopper that is adjustable in its up-and-down positions and comes into contact with the outermost push-up member to stop the rising motion of the intermediate push-up member.

    摘要： A process cartridge detachably mountable to a main assembly of an electrophotographic image forming apparatus, wherein the main assembly includes a motor, a main assembly side gear for receiving driving force from the motor, a hole defined by twisted surfaces, the hole being substantially coaxial with the gear, and a main assembly side grounding contact provided in the hole, the process cartridge includes an electrophotographic photosensitive drum; process mechanisms actable on the photosensitive drum; and a projection engageable with the twisted surfaces, the projection being provided at a longitudinal end of the photosensitive drum, wherein when the main assembly side gear rotates with the hole and projection engaged with each other, rotational driving force is transmitted from the gear to the photosensitive drum through engagement between the hole and the projection; and a cartridge side grounding contact electrically connected with the electrophotographic photosensitive drum for electrically grounding the electrophotographic photosensitive drum when the process cartridge is mounted to the main assembly of the apparatus, the cartridge side grounding contact being provided on the projection so as to be electrically connectable with the main assembly side grounding contact.

    摘要： A process cartridge remanufacturing method for a process cartridge detachably mountable to a main assembly of an image forming apparatus includes the steps of providing a new photosensitive drum; providing a new toner-development frame including a new toner frame having a toner containing portion for containing toner, a new development frame having a roller mounting portion for mounting a developing roller for supplying toner to the photosensitive drum, wherein the toner frame and the development frame are welded with a new removable toner seal therebetween for preventing the toner in the toner containing portion from leaking out; preparing a drum frame to be reused having a drum mounting portion for mounting the photosensitive drum; supplying toner into the toner containing portion; mounting the developing roller to the new development frame; mounting the photosensitive drum to the drum frame to be reused; and rotatably engaging the new toner-development frame and the drum frame to be reused.
