摘要: A circuit and method of qualified anomaly detection provides detection and triggering on specific analog anomalies and/or digital data within a qualified area of a serial data stream. A start pattern within the serial data stream, such as a packet header, is detected to generate an enable signal. A stop event, such as a packet trailer, a specified digital event, a time interval or the like, is identified to generate a disable signal. The enable and disable signals are combined to produce a qualification signal that allows a trigger circuit to trigger on a specified anomaly within the portion of the serial data stream defined by the qualification signal.

摘要: A system and method is provided for the real time auditing of covert data marks. Specific information relating to a product or document is entered into an information cell or shell from a product data file. A high definition, high resolution, high speed inline video system is provided to take specific details from the individual product or document, which details are added to the data cell or shell. Details are then inspected, quality checked, matched in the event there are multiple identifiers (e.g., currency would normally carry two matching sequential numbers), and verified to the product order. This cell or shell is passed to the special design computer/controller through a high speed electronic interface. Information entering the computer/controller is once again verified and matched to the original data as well as the product or document. The cell or shell is converted into a specially created 2-dimensional bar code which is encrypted by the computer/controller and then transformed into a video rip. This video rip is sent to high quality/high resolution production print engines. The encrypted 2-dimensional bar code is imaged directly to the product or document as it is carried past the print imaging engines. The ink also is specially designed and manufactured for this system and process. It is an invisible ink which is unique, durable, permanent and not available commercially (covered under trade secrets). These special inks are well suited for delivery using inkjet technology to efficiently make well formed invisible images at slow to high speed production schemes. The product or document is then sent instantly into a drying scheme (this can be air, forced air, heat, UV Dryer, depending on the printing system selected). After drying there is a final scanning. This scanning equipment is the same scanner design which will be used in the field so that each product or document will be verified with the actual scanning device and programs which will be used in the field. From this final scanning of the 2-dimensional data bar code, a final audited product or document profile is created, as is a database which will be the point of reference in the infrastructure during the life of the product or document. Each time any product or document is scanned at a transaction point, the database will be updated, either in real-time or downloaded from a data collection scanning device. This will build a complete history from the point of manufacture to the moment it is removed from service.

摘要: Systems and methods for immobilizing a target such as a human or animal with a stimulus signal coupled to the target via numerous electrodes select particular electrodes to use for the stimulus signal. Subsets of electrodes may be tested by applying a test signal and monitoring the energy or charge delivered during a prescribed time. If the delivered energy or charge using a particular subset of electrodes as indicated by monitoring test pulse amplitude suitably compares to a limit, then the particular subset is selected for applying the stimulus signal. A first stimulus signal may be applied to a first subset of electrodes to prompt movement of the target toward an electrode that, when better coupled to the target as a consequence of movement of the target will provide a more effective subset of electrodes for further stimulus. For example, a projectile with closely spaced electrodes may stimulate a burning sensation to attract the target to impale the target's hand on a rear facing electrode of the projectile. Use of the rear facing electrode and one or more of the closely spaced electrodes may provide a more effective stimulus circuit through tissue of the target.

摘要: Printed integrated circuitry and attached antenna and/or inductor for sensors, electronic article surveillance (EAS), radio frequency (RF) and/or RF identification (RFID) tags and devices, and methods for its manufacture. The tag generally includes printed integrated circuitry on one carrier and an antenna and/or inductor on another carrier, the integrated circuitry being electrically coupled to the antenna and/or inductor. The method of manufacture generally includes of printing an integrated circuit having a plurality of first pads on a carrier, forming an antenna and/or inductor having a plurality of second pads on a substrate, and attaching at least two of the first pads of the printed integrated circuit to corresponding second pads of the antenna and/or inductor. The present invention advantageously provides a low cost RFID tag capable of operating at MHz frequencies that can be manufactured in a shorter time period than conventional RFID tags that manufacture all active electrical devices on a conventional wafer.

摘要: A method for making an electronic device, such as a MOS transistor, including the steps of forming a plurality of semiconductor islands on an electrically functional substrate, printing a first dielectric layer on or over a first subset of the semiconductor islands and optionally a second dielectric layer on or over a second subset of the semiconductor islands, and annealing. The first dielectric layer contains a first dopant, and the (optional) second dielectric layer contains a second dopant different from the first dopant. The dielectric layer(s), semiconductor islands and substrate are annealed sufficiently to diffuse the first dopant into the first subset of semiconductor islands and, when present, the second dopant into the second subset of semiconductor islands.

摘要: An injection mold and a cooperating molding system and method that allows for the parting line of a molded vehicle bumper fascia to be hidden within the wheel arch portion thereof. The invention contemplates two different mold designs for producing such a parting line: a double-lifter design and a collapsing slide core design. The bumper fascia remains in the cavity portion of the mold after molding due to the presence of undercuts in the mold cavity. A robotic part removal device is used to remove the molded bumper fascia from the mold cavity after mold opening. The part removal device is adapted to temporarily deform the bumper fascia in the wheel arch flange areas thereof to facilitate its removal from the cavity.

摘要: A user device may display, via a graphical user interface, questions associated with a voice menu that is used by an interactive voice response (IVR) system to forward calls. The user device may obtain, via the graphical user interface, user responses to the questions. In addition, the user device may send information corresponding to the user responses to the questions to a remote device. The remote device may query the IVR system to identify a call agent, in a call center, whose profile matches the information, obtain contact information of the call agent from the IVR system, and send the contact information to the user device. Furthermore, the user device may receive the contact information from the remote device and display the contact information via the graphical user interface.
