    摘要: A sound source separation apparatus performs a temporary learning processing and a temporary separation processing with respect to each of a plurality of candidate matrixes (separating matrixes obtained by learning calculation based on input signals of different sound source conditions) stored on a candidate matrix memory in advance. The apparatus determines an initial matrix of the separating matrix based on the obtained correlation evaluation of the separated signals. The learning calculations of the initial matrix determination processing and separating matrix based on the initial matrix are performed at a time of the sound source separation processing by the apparatus and when a degree of correlation among the separated signals by a correlation evaluation part exceeds a predetermined level.

    摘要: A scanner is provided that has a light-beam emitter for emitting a light beam, a light-beam deflector for deflecting the light beam to scan a scanning surface, a photo-detector provided at a position outside an image-forming scanning range of the scanning surface to detect a scanning light beam before the scanning light beam starts generating a scanning line in the image-forming scanning range, a rotatable member located in front of an incident surface of the photo-detector and positioned in a recess formed on an outer surface of a housing. The rotatable member is rotatable about a rotational axis perpendicular to a plane defined by the scanning light beam by said deflector. The scanner also has an optical member provided on the rotatable member that allows the scanning light beam to pass therethrough to be incident upon the incident surface of the photo-detector, and a device for adjusting rotational position of said rotatable member about said rotational axis. A through hole through which the optical member is inserted in the housing is formed at the bottom of the recess, and the optical member is inserted into the housing through the through hole.

    摘要: An improved heat exchanger for use in a gas compression/expansion apparatus. The heat exchanger comprises: a tube connected with a compression/expansion space of a compression/expansion cylinder of the apparatus; a central cylinder coaxially disposed in the tube such that a narrow gap for the working gas is formed only between the central cylinder and the tube. The heat exchanger may liberate heat from, or providing heat to, the compression/expansion cylinder through heat transfer between the working gas in the tube and an ambient medium surrounding said tube. The heat exchanger is capable to serve as a low/high temperature heat source for an external heat load.

    摘要: An image forming system includes a memory having a page memory for storing data per one page of a sheet of paper to be printed on a sheet of paper; and a video memory for storing video data corresponding to the data stored in the page memory. A controller secures a memory region for the video memory from an entire memory region of the memory region and forms the video data in the video memory from the data stored in the page memory. A detecting circuit (CPU) detects a currently available memory capacity of the memory means which can be presented for the video memory and a size of the sheet of paper. A printing portion prints an image formed by the video data on the sheet in either one of a plurality of predetermined both side print modes which is selected depending on a detected result by the detecting circuit. The both side print modes define different sequences of reading out the video data corresponding to one page from the video data and difference sequence of printing on surfaces of sheets. .

The compound [I] and pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof are useful as anti-diabetic agents. They may be also used in the treatment of thrombosis.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes an image bearing member, a developing apparatus and a toner container which replenishes the developing apparatus with toner. The developing apparatus includes a first conveyance member having a first rotational shaft and a toner replenishment port. The toner container includes a second conveyance member having a second rotational shaft and a toner discharge port. The developing apparatus and the toner container are assembled in such a manner that the first rotational shaft and the second rotational shaft are in mutually perpendicular directions, and the toner replenishment port and the toner discharge port are mutually overlapping in a vertical direction. The second conveyance member rotates in a direction whereby the toner is discharged from the toner discharge port to the toner replenishment port at a position on an upstream side of the toner replenishment port in terms of the toner conveyance direction.
