摘要: The directory information on a file system recorded on an optical disc is cached onto a hard disk as a directory table. When accessing a file on the optical disc, a processor references the directory table so as to obtain information related to a position, on the disc medium, where the file to be accessed is located, without accessing the directory information on the optical disc. A disc I/O controller moves a pickup unit to the location indicated by the positional information on the file to be accessed and reads the data on the file. The pickup unit is used to detect signals from the optical disc.

摘要: A circuit to appropriately adjust the emission intensity of LEDs of various colors. By means of a first optical sensor (11), the detection range of which includes the peak wavelengths of LEDs (10R), (10G), and (10B) of multiple colors and the detectable peak wavelength of which is shorter than the shortest peak wavelength of the LEDs (10R), (10G) and (10B), and a second optical sensor 12 the detectable peak wavelength of which is longer than the longest peak wavelength of the LEDs (10R), (10G), and (10B), the LEDs (10R), (10G), and (10B) of each color are lighted one color at a time and the emission intensity is measured. When the measurement result of the first optical sensor (11) indicates an increase and the measurement result of the second optical sensor indicates a decrease, it is known that the emitted light has shifted to a shorter wavelength, and in the opposite case, that it has shifted to a longer wavelength. In the case of a change in intensity rather than a shift in the emitted wavelength, the measurement results of both first optical sensor (11) and second optical sensor (12) will be a decrease or an increase, so that a shift can be discriminated from a change in intensity, and can be detected.

摘要: There is provided an information storage apparatus capable of storing information on a parked vehicle acquired before and after detection of unusual conditions with lesser amount of power to be consumed. During halt of a vehicle, at least one of image information and sound information of the interior of the vehicle is acquired by an anti-theft device main body, and the acquired information is transmitted from the anti-theft device main body to a drive recorder at a transmission interval that varies between before and after detection of unusual vehicle conditions by the anti-theft device main body. A drive recorder main body allows a second RAM to store therein information received from an anti-theft device at a second transmission period and information received from the anti-theft device at a first transmission period.

摘要: When a remote start of an engine using a predetermined transmitter is performed, a security regarding theft of a vehicle can be prevented form being significantly deteriorated. The vehicle has a remote engine starter for remotely start an engine and a vehicle antitheft device for activating an alarm when there is a possibility of occurrence of vehicle theft. The remote engine starter and the vehicle antitheft device are connected to each other through a communication line. In a case where an engine start signal is supplied from the transmitter, the remote engine starter is caused to supply a start signal to the vehicle antitheft device through the communication line before causing a contact point closing signal to be supplied to an ignition relay. When the start signal is supplied to the vehicle antitheft device, preventing apparatus, only the security function regarding conditions of no-insertion of an ignition key and an ignition ON is cancelled to be an unvigilant state, and the security function regarding other conditions is maintained to be a vigilant state.

摘要: A subject for the invention is to obtain trans-1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid (t-CHDA) in a high concentration by efficiently isomerizing cis-1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid (c-CHDA) by a simple method. The invention provides: (1) a process for producing t-CHDA which comprises heating crude CHDA to 180° C. or higher in an inert atmosphere and causing the t-CHDA formed by isomerization to precipitate in the molten c-CHDA while holding the crude CHDA at a temperature in the range of not lower than 180° C. and less than the melting point of t-CHDA; (2) a process for producing t-CHDA, wherein crude CHDA which is powdery or granular is heat-treated at a temperature of not lower than the melting point of c-CHDA and lower than the melting point of t-CHDA to thereby isomerize the cis isomer to the trans isomer while maintaining the powdery or granular state; (3) a process for producing t-CHDA, wherein crude CHDA is held at a temperature of not lower than the melting point of c-CHDA and lower than the melting point of t-CHDA in an inert atmosphere while maintaining flowing to thereby obtain powdery or granular t-CHDA; and (4) a process for purifying crude CHDA in which crude CHDA obtained through the step of hydrogenating TPA or the like is heated in an atmosphere of an inert gas to volatilize and remove impurities.

By using the thin film-forming material, a thin film can be produced with stable film-forming rate or stable film composition control without suffering from problems of raw material gas suppliability and in-line raw material transport. Preferred (β-diketonato)zinc compounds are bis(octane-2,4-dionato)zinc and bis(2,2dimethyl-6-ethyldecane-3,5-dionato) zinc.
