摘要: A cup shaped yoke made of sheet material has an opening portion provided in a side wall on an axial end side, a shoulder portion provided in the sidewall on another axial end side, a magnet installation portion for installing a magnet, which is provided in the side wall between the opening and shoulder portions and whose wall thickness is substantially equal to thickness of the sheet material, and a bottom portion, which is provided in a bottom wall, having a boss shaped bearing accommodating portion in a center thereof. Each wall thickness of the opening, shoulder and bottom portions including the boss shaped bearing accommodating portion is equal to or smaller than a half of wall thickness of the magnet installation portion.

摘要: A magnetic disk includes two kinds of texture lines formed on a substrate rendered to texturing, one kind being formed over the entire substrate and parallel with a circumference of the substrate and the other kind being formed such that a line tangent to the other texture intersects a line tangent to the one texture at an angle of 3 to 9 degrees. The other texture lines are yielded by processing the substrate with a polishing tape rocking the substrate radially thereof, and satisfying the floating characteristic of a magnetic head as being floated in a low degree, the contact-start-stop characteristic, and the attraction characteristic.

摘要: A steering control apparatus has a variable gear ratio device and a power steering device. If abnormality arises in the VGRS device, an EPS motor is controlled based on a steering wheel angle and a speed increase ratio. Thus, vehicle wheels are controlled appropriately when abnormality arises in the VGRS device. Steered angle of the vehicle wheels relative to the steering wheel angle is not changed between before and after occurrence of abnormality in the VGRS device. As a result, movement of a vehicle does not deviate from the steering wheel angle and feeling of discomfort in steering a vehicle can be reduced.

摘要: In a steering control apparatus, a worm gear is configured to have a lead angle for a self-lock operation, by which a worm wheel is allowed to rotate by rotation of a worm but the worm is not allowed to rotate by rotation of the worm wheel. Thus, a lock mechanism need not be provided separately from a gear mechanism and the apparatus is reduced in entire size. A VGRS control part checks whether the worm gear has a self-lock failure, which disables the self-lock operation. If the worm gear has the self-lock failure, idling suppression processing is performed to suppress idling of a steering wheel. Thus, even when the self-lock failure arises, the steering wheel is suppressed from idling.

摘要: A co-winding type thermal transfer sheet is constituted by forming on one surface side of a substrate film a heat-fusible ink layer comprising a pigment and a particulate binder, and causing a tracing paper to be peelably bonded onto the heat-fusible ink layer by the medium of an adhesive layer. The thus constituted co-winding type thermal transfer sheet is capable of providing an original image which can be reproduced by use of a blueprint process so as to provide blueprint images having a high precision and a high contrast.In addition, a co-winding type thermal transfer sheet may also be constituted by forming a heat-fusible ink layer on one surface side of a substrate film and causing a transparent resin sheet to be peelably bonded onto the heat-fusible ink layer by the medium of an adhesive layer containing a cross-linking agent. The thus constituted co-winding type thermal transfer sheet is capable of providing an image excellent in wear resistance on the transparent resin sheet. The transparent resin sheet after the image formation may be used as an OHP (overhead projector) sheet. without contaminating the sheet having no liquid absorbing property.

摘要: A VGRS device checks whether assist control of an EPS device for assisting steering operation of a steering wheel is being stopped. If the assist control of the EPS device is being stopped, a speed increase ratio is determined so that the rotation angle of the output shaft is less than the rotation angle of the input shaft. A VGRS motor is controlled and driven based on a determined speed increase ratio. Thus, steering operation of the steering wheel can be controlled appropriately so that the steering operation of the steering wheel can be continued with relatively small torque. It is less likely that a driver will erroneously feel that the steering wheel is locked.
