    摘要: The present invention provides a thermal transfer sheet, which comprises a substrate film and a metallic layer disposed on one side of the substrate film, the metallic layer being comprising leaf-shaped aluminum powder. The preferable leaf-shaped aluminum powder is obtainable via a process in which an aluminum film is formed by a vapor deposition on a peelability facilitating surface of a carrier sheet, the aluminum film is peeled off the carrier sheet and finely divided. Using the thermal transfer sheet, it is possible to produce a printed product having a high metallic luster and hiding property and excellent in qualities including design, appearance or decoration. Furthermore, it is not expensive to produce the thermal transfer sheet of the present invention.

    摘要: The present invention provides an image receiving sheet applicable to an over head projector (OHP) and a process for forming an OHP image. The image receiving sheet is capable of forming a yellow image providing a parallel-ray transmittance (Y) of 50% or more when the transmittance density (X) is in a range from 0 to 1.0 by electrophotography. The image receiving sheet is capable of forming a yellow image providing a haze value (Z) of 40% or less when the transmittance density (X) is in a range from 0 to 1.0 by electrophotography.

    摘要: A recording sheet of the present invention comprises a substrate film, a receptor layer for retaining a toner image and a release layer for releasing the receptor layer from a fixing surface of a fixing means, the receptor layer and the release layer being disposed on at least one side of the substrate film in this order from a position of the substrate film, wherein the release layer contains a release agent having compatibility to toner and releasing ability to the fixing surface. A preferable release agent is wax, particularly wax having a polar group in its molecular structure, such as carnauba wax and candelilla wax. The recording sheet of the present invention can provide a high quality of the toner image with no occurrence of fusion to the fixing surface and cohesive failure of the receptor layer even when the thermal fixing is carried out with no oil supplied to the fixing surface of the fixing means.

    摘要: A thermal transfer medium comprising:a thermal transfer film comprising a substrate film and a hot-melt ink layer provided on said substrate film, said hot-melt ink layer containing a thermoplastic elastomer having a rubber elasticity; and an image receiving sheet superposed peelably onto said thermal transfer film on the side of said hot-melt ink layer; wherein (i) the thermal transfer medium is formed by separately preparing said image receiving sheet and said thermal transfer film, superposing said image receiving sheet on said thermal transfer film on the side of said hot-melt ink layer, and adhering said image receiving sheet and said thermal transfer film in a peelable manner; (ii) said hot-melt ink layer is formed by coating said substrate film with a hot-melt ink; (iii) the adhesive strength under shear in an area of adhesion between said thermal transfer film on the side of said hot-melt ink layer and a 25.times.55 m.sup.2 area of said image receiving sheet ranges from 300 to 2000 g; and (iv) the 90.degree. peeling strength at a printed portion of the thermal transfer medium after printing ranges from 0.1 to 50 g/25 mm.
