Abstract:
A one-piece barrel assembly cart includes a right assembly cart base connected with a left assembly cart base and at least three stabilizer rings that are attached to the assembly cart base. The one-piece barrel assembly cart may be used to stabilize a tapered cured composite barrel, for example the large fuselage barrel of the aft section of a large new generation aircraft, such as a 7E7 Boeing airplane. A modular assembly cart includes at least two identical modules. Each of these modules includes a cart base and a stabilizer ring. The diameter of the inner surface of the stabilizer ring may vary as needed. Other modules including a fuselage support may be added. By providing modular assembly carts any shape and size of a one-piece composite barrel may be stabilized after curing of the composite material.
Abstract:
A method of operating a radio station in a broadcast network is described. The method comprises the steps of coupling a plurality of radio stations in the broadcast network; enabling each the radio station of the plurality of radio stations to monitor its operating conditions; detecting a fault condition based upon the operating conditions; and communicating the fault condition to a control unit. According to an alternate embodiment, a method comprises the steps of coupling a plurality of radio stations in the broadcast network; receiving a command at a radio station of the plurality of radio stations; and detecting a transmission method for a command received by the radio station. A system for broadcasting a radio signal is also disclosed. The system comprises a central control computer generating a command; a plurality of radio stations coupled to receive the command from the central control computer; a feedback loop between each radio station and the central control computer; and a feedback signal coupled by way of the feedback loop from the radio station to the central control computer, the feedback signal indicating that the command was successfully executed by the radio station.
Abstract:
An illustrative intelligent network and method for providing voice telephony over Asynchronous Transfer Mode (“ATM”) and private address translation are provided that can provide significant advantages. The method includes generating an input ATM setup message at the calling party CPE that includes a VToA designator and a called party phone number, extracting information from the input ATM setup message such as the VToA designator and the called party phone number, analyzing the information, designating an ATM address of a called party CPE to be stored in the first parameter of an output ATM setup message, determining if private address translation is needed, designating the ATM address of the called party CPE to be stored in a first instance of the second parameter of the output ATM setup message, designating an ATM address of an egress ATM edge switch to be stored in the first parameter of the output ATM setup message, and generating an output ATM setup message. The method also includes extracting information from the output ATM setup message such as the ATM address of the called party CPE, designating the ATM address of the called party CPE that was stored in the first instance of the second parameter of the output ATM setup message to be stored in the first parameter of a destination ATM setup message, and generating a destination ATM setup message that includes the ATM address of the called party CPE stored in the first parameter and the called party phone number value stored in the second parameter. An illustrative intelligent network for providing VToA and private address translation is also provided.
Abstract:
In order to improve an attenuator for a laser beam of a high-power laser comprising a diffraction element which in an attenuating position extends in a section oriented transversely to a beam direction of the laser beam and is irradiated by the laser beam such that it will also withstand the laser beams of high-power lasers, it is proposed that the diffraction element extend beyond the laser beam in the direction transverse to the beam direction so only a partial region of the diffraction element is irradiated by the laser beam and that the diffraction element be continuously moveable in this direction by a drive such that the laser beam irradiates constantly changing partial regions of the diffraction element.
Abstract:
This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for processing, transmitting and displaying data received from an analyte sensor, such as a glucose sensor. The system may include a display device with at least one input device. In response to movement of or along the input device, the display device may change a glucose data output parameter and update an output of the display device using the changed output parameter.

Abstract:
A plug connector is disclosed that has a body portion and a circuit card extending forwardly of a mating face of the connector. The circuit card is protected in place by a pair of protective flanges that extend forwardly from the body portion and which flank the circuit card to protect it from stubbing and to provide a first means for aligning the plug connector with the receptacle connector. One or more projections formed on the exterior of the plug connector provide second means for aligning the plug connector with the receptacle connector.
