Abstract: A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium having instructions to attach to a user device, wherein the network device provides wireless access coverage in a cell area or a sector area of a first network; detect whether the network device is in a congested state; generate a message that indicates that the network device is in the congested state when the network device is in the congested state; and transmit the message on a control or signaling channel for receipt by user devices attached to the network device in the cell area or the sector area. The user device scans the control or signaling channel before initiating a session and determines whether the network device is in the congested state. When the network device is in the congested state, the user device performs a switchover to a second network. The user device has multimode capabilities.

Abstract: A method including determining whether a subscriber identification profile (SIDP) is stored within a UE; sending an initial attach request along with a default network access key to a MME, upon determining that the SIDP is not stored; receiving a first authorization in response to the initial attach request, the first authorization restricts connectivity of the UE to an M2M activation system accessed by a dedicated APN associated with the default network access key; receiving, from a subscription management system, a SIDP generated by the M2M activation system; detaching from the M2M activation system and the network; sending a second attach request to the network based on the received SIDP; and receiving a second authorization to the network in response to the second attach request; the second authorization provides unrestricted APN connectivity and access to services associated with the subscriber identification profile.

Abstract: A user device receives system information block data from a cell. The user device obtains, from the system information block data, cell metadata that includes a cellular parameter. The user device parses the cell metadata to identify the cellular parameter. The cellular parameter includes an upper layer indicator element, a public land mobile network (PLMN) information list element, and a network capability indicator element. The user device determines, based on the cellular parameter, that the cell is of a particular cell type of a plurality of cell types, and that the cell has a particular capability of a plurality of types of capabilities. The user device performs an action based on the particular cell type or the particular capability.

Abstract: A system may collect, from a wireless network, first data pertaining to nodes in the wireless network. Each datum of the first data belongs to one of two or more categories/For each of the nodes, for each of the categories, and for each datum belonging to the category, the system may determine if the datum is outside of a first range of values, and if the datum is inside the first range, the system may calculate a first base network performance health (NPH) score that is a function of the nodes, the categories, the data, and time. The system may also apply first deep learning to a first neural network among a plurality of neural networks to update first coefficients for correlating the first base NPH score to a mean opinion score, for each of the categories.

Abstract: Compatibility and/or compliance testing for a wireless cellular network may be performed using a testing system that includes a device that implements multiple base stations in a single hardware device. Additionally, a network simulation server may simulate a core portion of the wireless cellular network. Test cases, such as test cases defined using a scripting language, may be received and the test cases may be interpreted to obtain configuration information for the testing system. Based on the configuration information, the base stations and the simulated network devices may be initially configured. After configuration, and based on the test case, a UE may be controller to interact with the simulated network in a manner implements the desired compatibility and/or compliance tests.
