Linear alkylsilicone compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein x=0 to 20, preferably 0 to 10, most preferably 0 to 1; y=1 to 10, preferably 1 to 5, most preferably 1; and R is an alkyl or alkyl ester group containing 6 to 16 carbons, or cyclic alkylsilicone compounds of the formula ##STR2## where m is 0 to 4, preferably 0 to 2, most preferably 0, and n is 1 to 5, preferably 3 to 5, most preferably 4, provided that m+n=3 to 5, are adjuvants for agricultural applications of oil-containing compositions. Especially preferred alkylsilicone compounds have a degree of polymerization of .ltoreq.6 and an alkyl content of .ltoreq.50% by weight. The compounds potentiate spreading of mineral or vegetable oils or oil-containing emulsions in dormant spray oils, crop oil concentrates, pesticides, and the like on difficult-to wet surfaces such as waxy leaf cuticles and arthropod exoskeletons.

An antifoam composition and laundry detergent formulation including it. The antifoam composition comprises a selected alkylaminosilicone, finely divided filler particles and a hydrocarbon carrier oil. Optional ingredients include oil/water surfactants and silicone oils. The alkylaminosilicone reduces the surface tension of the hydrocarbon oil and renders the formulation self-hydrophobing.

The present invention relates to coating and printing ink compositions containing silylated polyether compounds comprising a hydrolysis-resistant bis-silyl hydrocarbylene group. More particularly, the silylated polyether compound comprising a bis-silyl hydrocarbylene group provides to the coating and ink compositions formulation flexibility over the entire pH range, leveling-and-flow and surface wetting, and are non-reactive with the other components of the coating and ink compositions, thereby providing long-term shelf-stability of formulated coatings and inks. These coating and ink compositions containing silylated polyether compounds do not release silicone materials and thereby provide articles treated with these coatings and ink compositions with uniform appearance and gloss.

The present invention teaches the composition of terminally modified, amino, polyether, siloxanes, known hereforth as amino siloxane alkokylates, and their use as adjuvants. The amino siloxane alkoxylates of the present invention enhance the efficacy of agrichemicals on plants as compared to conventional TSE's alone. The amino siloxane alkoxylates have at one end, an amine functionality and at the other end, a polyalkyleneoxide functionality.
