Aspects of the present disclosure include a navigation system and computer-implemented methods for detecting traffic disruption events based on an analysis of input component data obtained from navigation-enabled devices of vehicles near a particular location. Traffic disruption events are events such as accidents, construction road closures, police and speed traps, or road hazards that cause a decrease in the flow of traffic along a particular route and thus, added time delays for occupants of vehicles traveling along those routes. The navigation system scores the input component data associated with each vehicle and aggregates the scored input component data to obtain a frustration score associated with the vehicle. The navigation system may detect traffic disruption events based on a number of vehicles near a particular area having associated frustration scores above a certain threshold.

The media store instructions that, in response to execution by the processors, cause the processors to perform operations. The operations include receiving category specifications and access category definitions for access categories. The access category definitions include relationship criteria for the access categories. The operations include identifying a relationship between a second user and a first user, comparing an identified relationship with the relationship criteria, and determining which of the access categories the second user is included based on the comparison. In response to a received product request for a product offered by the first user, the operations include providing a product listing to the second user that is consistent with the category specification of the access category of the second user.

Aspects of the present disclosure include a navigation system and computer-implemented methods for proactively re-routing vehicles based on an analysis of input component data obtained from the navigation-enabled devices. The navigation system scores the input component data to obtain a measure of frustration (e.g., a feeling of being upset or annoyed) of the user of the navigation-enabled device. The navigation system may provide a detour suggestion for display on the navigation-enabled device to persuade the user of the device to direct their vehicle to depart from its current location or route in an effort to remove the vehicle from traffic, and thereby reduce the frustration level of the user. The detour suggestion may include an alternative route to the original destination, or an alternative destination.
Abstract:
An item query can be received on a website that manages a diverse set of items. If the query is associated with a custom taxonomy, the custom taxonomy for the item (or item class) is used to create a user interface with navigational elements generated from the custom taxonomy. The custom taxonomy can be generated from a third-party site that is associated with the item (e.g., a manufacturer). The generated user interface allows users to more readily navigate items from the item class.

Systems and methods are disclosed to provide flaw accentuation to an image in an e-commerce online marketplace. In some embodiments, a method may include receiving at an online marketplace, from a seller through the Internet, an image of an item being listed for sale at the online marketplace and text related to the item being listed for sale; determining that the item includes a flaw based on the text related to the item being listed for sale or the image of the item; creating a flaw accentuation to the image; and creating a listing in the online marketplace for the item that includes the image and the flaw accentuation to the image.

Abstract:
In various example embodiments, systems and methods for enabling users to modify elements of a traffic commute are presented. For example, one embodiment involves a server computer receiving a bid value and a commute path from a client device. The server computer analyzes the received information to identify an available commute modification associated with the commute path, makes and verifies a modification in communication with traffic devices such as a street light if the bid is accepted, and then informs the client device that the modification impacting the user's traffic commute was accepted. In certain embodiments, different groups of users with different commutes associated with conflicting commute modifications bid against each other.
