Abstract:
A method, system, and computer readable medium which automatically determine the side, field and a level of image quality of fundus images of the retina of a human eye is disclosed. The disclosure combines image processing, computer vision and pattern recognition techniques in a unique way to provide a robust process to identify and grade the quality of fundus images with application to improve efficiency and reduce errors in clinical or diagnostic retinal imaging workflows.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a method for establishing a symmetric encryption key between a first device and a second device. The symmetric encryption key is a function of a phase difference of the signals emitted between the first device and the second device and distance between the first device and the second device.
Abstract:
A method, non-transitory computer readable medium, and apparatus that provides object-based identification, sorting and ranking of target detections includes determining a target detection score for each pixel in each of one or more images for each of one or more targets. A region around one or more of the pixels with the determined detection scores which are higher than the determined detection scores for the remaining pixels in each of the one or more of images is identified. An object based score for each of the identified regions in each of the one or more images is determined. The one or more identified regions with the determined object based score for each region is provided.
Abstract:
A system and method include contactless detecting and tracking cardiac activity by making use of a feedback control system, such as a Phase Locked Loop (PLL), in real-time or from a prerecorded signal stream.
Abstract:
An apparatus includes one or more temperature sensing and memory devices each having one or more memristors. A controller device is coupled to the temperature sensing and memory devices A processing device is coupled to the controller device and includes at least one of hardware logic configured to be capable of implementing or a processor coupled to a memory and configured to execute programmed instructions stored in the memory comprising: issuing a record instruction and a write instruction with a write address to the controller device to record the write time for the memristor at the write address to transition from one of the first and second states to the other states; receiving from the controller device the recorded time; determining and providing a temperature of the memristor at the write address based on the received write time.
Abstract:
A method and system for stabilizing flow includes introducing a flow into a channel with a minimum cross-sectional dimension of less than three millimeters and triggering a release of one or more bubbles in the flow at one or more locations in the channel. The one or more locations are spaced in from an inlet and an outlet to the channel.
Abstract:
A system and method of identifying and locating one or more targets includes capturing one or more frames and recording position data for each of the frames. Each of the frames comprises a plurality of at least three different types of infrared image data. Each of the targets is identified and a location is provided based on the three different types of captured infrared image data in each of the frames and the recorded position data.
Abstract:
A method and system for treating emissions includes charging particles in an exhaust stream, producing one or more radicals, and oxidizing at least a portion of the charged particles with at least a portion of the produced radicals. At least a portion of the charged particles in the exhaust stream are then attracted on at least one attraction surface which is one of oppositely charged from the charged particles and grounded. The attracted particles are oxidized with another portion of the one or more produced radicals to self regenerate the at least one attraction surface. Downstream from where the attracted particles are oxidized, at least a portion of one or more first compounds in the exhaust stream are converted to one or more second compounds downstream from the attracting. Additionally, at least a portion of any remaining charged particles are oxidized into one or more gases.
Abstract:
An asset management system includes a controller area network bus and a data acquisition module connected to the controller area network bus. The data acquisition module has a plurality of analog input channels. One or more sensor systems are connected to the input channels with the input channels receiving analog signals from the sensor systems. The data acquisition module passively conditions the received analog signals prior to digital conversion.
Abstract:
A method, computer readable medium and system for detecting a sensor fault includes identifying one or more of a plurality of tools to use with at least one of a plurality of data acquisition systems based on data obtained from and at least one characteristic of the at least one of the data acquisition systems. The identified one or more tools are utilized on the obtained data to determine at least one confidence rating. An operational status for the at least one of the data acquisition systems is determined and provided based on at least the one determined confidence rating.
