    摘要： The cartridge comprises a container (7) of substantially parallelepipedal form with its corners radiused and rounded off. The container is provided with a back (8) having a slot (27) adapted to guide a slide (26) on the ends of which are rotatably mounted a feed spool (22) and a take-up spool (32) on which the ribbon (21) is wound. A spring (36) engaged with a stud (41) on the slide keeps the slide (26) towards the right-hand side of the container with the take-up spool (32) engaged with the pin teeth of a feed roller (42). As the turns of ribbon wound on the take-up spool increase, the slide shifts with the two spools towards the left-hand side of the container in opposition to the action of the spring. The cartridge is mounted removably on a support of the machine which is inclined with respect to the horizontal plane of the machine passing through the printing point in a manner such as to permit visibility of the printed characters.

    摘要： A process and printer are described for the rapid printing of documents, wherein the paper is continuously moved in front of static pinpoint printing heads covering the entire section of the printing surface, transverse to the direction of movement of the paper, and the printing heads are controlled by coded pulses. The printed document is legible by the naked eye and at the same time directly assimilable by machine. Certain characters may be selected, and simultaneously printed on the documents. Printing may be done by electric-spark perforation of an opaque conductive support tape, and thereafter examined by observation in transparency of the illuminated perforations.

    摘要： A low inertia wire matrix print head which tilts below the line of printing on a printer to permit viewing of the characters which are printed. The printer includes a carriage which is traversed along the line of printing, and the print head is mounted thereon. The print head includes a housing in which the associated wire plungers are slidably mounted, and the rear end of the housing is pivotally mounted on the carriage and the front end thereof is adjacent to the line of printing. The actuators for the wire plungers do not pivot with the housing but are fixed to the carriage to provide a low inertia, tilting, print head. Linkage attached to the front end of the housing lowers the print head to permit viewing of the characters which are printed.

The detector apparatus actuates a record sheet shifting apparatus to shift the record sheet to a text display position when the data store output level is empty and to shift the record sheet back to a printing position when a new code word input occurs.

    摘要： A print device includes a head, a medium holding portion, an opening/closing cover, a feed path, a sensor, a window portion, and a blocking wall. The medium holding portion holds the medium and open to allow the medium to be taken out and put in. The opening/closing cover opens and closes an opening in the medium holding portion. The feed path extends from the medium holding portion toward the head and feeding the medium. The sensor is provided in the feed path. The window portion is provided in a position corresponding to between the sensor and the head, in a wall portion of the case, and allows the inside of the case to be seen from outside. The blocking wall is provided between the sensor and the window portion, and blocks a light coming in through the window portion toward the sensor.
