摘要： An optical alignment system is provided that simplifies the alignment of two vehicles, for example during a docking procedure, and provides visual cues indicating range to prevent accidental collision. The optical alignment system includes a horizontal array of Fresnel lenses including a first plurality of Fresnel lenses disposed on one side of a vertical axis and a second plurality of Fresnel lenses disposed on the opposite side of the vertical axis. One Fresnel lens of the first plurality and one Fresnel lens of the second plurality are spaced equidistant from the vertical axis and form a first pair, and the Fresnel lenses of the first pair are arranged so that light paths therefrom converge along the vertical axis at a first distance behind the horizontal array of lights.

摘要： A boat docking apparatus includes a guide assembly adapted to guide a boat through an entranceway. The guide assembly includes a beam with a horizontal and a vertical element which includes a first end and a second end. A first vertical frame is coupled to the first end of the horizontal element and a second vertical frame is coupled to the second end of the horizontal element. A slider apparatus is coupled to each of the first vertical frame and second vertical frame. A first door and a second door is coupled to the slider apparatus and a first roller coupled to the first door, and a second roller coupled to the second door. A boat lift is coupled to the horizontal element of the guiding assembly and includes a structural platform on which the boat is to be docked.

Using this arrangement of the left and right pushing devices to bias the boat away from the left and right structures, respectively, a single force generating unit is connected to both pushing devices.
