    摘要: A diaphragm (400) of a speaker (100) includes a vibrating member having a substantially thin-plate shape and a base material disposed substantially at the center in a width direction of the vibrating member. The base material is formed by a woof group, a front diagonal thread group, a back diagonal thread group and a warp group, the groups being arranged so as to cross with each other and have axial directions different from each other. Accordingly, tensile strengths of the diaphragm (400) in the axial directions of the groups, i.e., tensile strengths in four directions, can be set to substantially the same. Accordingly, since the number of directions having substantially the same tensile strength is larger than conventional arrangements using triaxial fabrics, occurrence of deformation such as bending of the diaphragm (400) due to resonance can be prevented as compared to the conventional arrangements. Therefore, the speaker (100) capable of vibrating properly can be provided.

    摘要: In order to make it possible to weave in a conductive thread, in particular an antenna thread, in a very wide variety of ways in a ribbon needle loom for manufacturing a strip, in particular a label strip, having a shedding apparatus for forming a shed (24) from warp threads (8), a weft insertion needle (26) for inserting weft thread loops, a reed (30) and having a feed apparatus (34) for a thread which has a blade (34) which dips into the shed (24) between warp threads (8) as far as under the insertion path of the weft insertion needle (26), it is proposed that the blade is arranged on a shaft (38) which is oriented transversely with respect to the warp direction. The shaft is connected to a first drive apparatus (40a) for performing a pivoting movement of the shaft. As a result of the pivoting, the blade (34) dips into and out of the shed (24). Furthermore, the shaft is connected to a second drive apparatus (44a) for movement in the axial direction. As a result, the blade (34) can be moved over the width of the strip (2).

    摘要: The present invention involves three dimensional woven structures which include interwoven bias fibers and at least one integrally woven junction, and a loom for weaving these structures. The loom includes bias fiber holders, bias shuttles, and independently controllable bias arms to interweave the bias fibers. Each bias fiber holder holds a bias fiber under tension. The bias shuttles may releasably grip a number of the bias fiber holders and translate them horizontally between a plurality of predetermined horizontal positions. Each bias shuttle is at a separate vertical position. At least one bias shuttle translates above the shed and at least one bias shuttle translates below the shed. Each independently controllable bias arm may releasably grip one of the bias fiber holders and translate it vertically, at one of the predetermined horizontal positions, with a range of motion extending at least between two of the bias shuttles.

    摘要: A process for weaving using a reed having vertically aligned upper and lower reed portions with the reed portions being relatively movable in a weft direction. The process includes transferring warp yarns between the reed portions, moving the transferred warp yarns in the weft direction to define a selected array of warp yarns, and then shedding the array of warp yarns for insertion of weft yarn. A weaving loom head is also provided including a reed having vertically aligned upper and lower reed portions, a plurality of healds each releasably engagable with an individual warp yarn for moving selected warp yarns from one reed portion to the other, and a selectively operable drive mechanism for causing relative movement between the reed portions by a predetermined spacing in the weft direction. Weaves may accordingly be produced including warp threads extending parallel to and/or inclined to the fabric take-off direction. Inclination of the warp threads may be in a horizontal and/or vertical plane. The warp yarns are woven with weft yarns that may extend in a direction generally perpendicular to the take-off direction and/or may be inclined in horizontal and/or vertical plane. Also, complex weaves may be produced wherein the weave pattern can be selectively changed as the weaving process progresses.

    摘要: A tetraxial fabric and a weaving machine for manufacturing the fabric. The tetraxial fabric is formed by the crisscross of warp yarns, weft yarns, and bias yarns having two different diagonal directions. A first set of warp yarns is overlaid by the weft yarns and, in turn, overlies the bias yarns. A second set of warp yarns, which alternate with the warp yarns in the first set, overlies the weft yarns and is, in turn, overlaid by the bias yarns. Due to the yarn formation, the fabric has a constant isotropy and evenness and can be made with a fill coefficient of up to 100%. The weaving machine for the manufacture of the tetraxial fabric can alternately produce, in the fabric formation area, two sheds between the warp yarns for passing the weft yarns at opposite sides with respect to the bias yarns.
