摘要: A building having a foundation and abutting wall panels seated on the foundation. Together they define at least one wall section, tied together by orthogonal tensioners. The tensioners include vertical tensioners located parallel and between adjacent wall panels and fixed to the foundation and at a respective anchor positioned at the top of the adjacent wall panel. These vertical tensioners allow a binding of the adjacent wall panel by said vertical tensioner onto the seat of the foundation. The tensioners also a horizontal tensioner extending between said anchors at each end of the wall section to allow a horizontal binding of wall panels of the wall section together.

摘要: Described herein are apparatus, systems and methods useful in forming underground vertical structures. Methods are described for constructing an underground vertical structure, comprising the steps of excavating soil to a sufficient depth to create a circular void to accommodate a plurality of segments; assembling a ring shaped structure comprising the plurality of segments; connecting the outside surface of the ring shaped structure with the soil in said circular void, thereby securing the ring shaped structure to the soil; excavating earth beneath the ring shaped structure to accommodate a second ring shaped structure; and repeating steps b-d thereby forming one or more additional ring shaped structures downward into the earth below already formed ring shaped structures until a predetermined depth is reached; thereby forming the underground vertical structure. Systems to perform the above methods are also disclosed.

The block is formed as a body portion including the front face, a head portion including the rear face and a neck portion connecting the body portion and the head portion. The body, head and neck portions each extend between the top and bottom faces and between the first and second side wall faces. An opening extends through the neck portion from the top face to the bottom face, dividing the neck portion to into first and second neck wall members extending rearwardly from the body portion to the head portion.

摘要: A retaining wall block (1) has parallel top and bottom faces (2, 3), a front face (4), a rear face (5), first and second side wall faces (6, 7) and a vertical plane of symmetry (S) extending between the front and rear faces (4, 5). The block (1) is formed as a body portion (8) including the front face (4), a head portion (9) including the rear face (5) and a neck portion (10) connecting the body portion (8) and the head portion (9). The body, head and neck portions (8, 9, 10) each extend between the top and bottom faces (2, 3) and between the first and second side wall faces (6, 7). An opening (13)′ extends through the neck portion (10) from the top face (2) to the bottom face (3), dividing the neck portion (10) into first and second neck wall members (14, 15) extending rearwardly from the body portion (8) to the head portion (9). First and second pin holes (16 and 17) are each disposed in the body portion (8) and open onto the top face (2) for receiving a pin (50, 51) with a free end of the pin protruding beyond the top face. First and second pin receiving cavities (18, 19) are each disposed in the body portion (8) and open onto the bottom face (3) for receiving the free end of a pin (50, 51) received in a pin hole (16 and 17) of an adjacent block (1) disposed therebeneath so as to interlock the blocks (1) with a predetermined setback. The neck wall members (14, 15), pin holes (16 and 17) and pin receiving cavities (18, 19) are positioned such that a first plane (P1) extending parallel to the plane of symmetry (5) passes through the first pin receiving cavity (18), first pin hole (16) and first neck wall member (14) and a second plane (P2) extending parallel to the plane of symmetry (5) passes through the second pin receiving cavity (19), second pin hole (17) and second neck wall member (15).

摘要: An interlocking segmental retaining wall. The wall includes a plurality of blocks stack upon each other. Each block includes a void filled with aggregate. In addition, each block includes an extension and slot for interlocking the blocks together to form the retaining wall. Each block also includes a plurality of lugs and an indentation for aligning and stacking the blocks on each other. The blocks may also be stacked to form a curved retaining wall. In an alternate embodiment, the blocks may have tabs located on an upper portion of each block. Each block is laterally positioned by centering the block upon the top of two lower block.

摘要: An anchor is provided whose number of processes of work at the time of performance of installation work can be reduced and which can selectively fix a plurality of types of fixing targets. An anchor 10 includes: a shaft 22 to be buried in a ground; a head 24 into which a propulsive force for propelling the shaft 22 in the ground is inputted, the head 24 being provided on an upper end portion 22a of the shaft 22; and a sleeve 26 having a tubular peripheral wall portion 42 placed around the head 24. An outer diameter of the head 24 is specified to be greater than an outer diameter of the shaft 22. Consequently, an undersurface 32a is secured on an outer peripheral portion 32 of the head 24. The peripheral wall portion 42 is provided in an upper end portion 42a with an opening portion 44 in which a first fixing target 12c, 12d, or 12f is fitted as needed. The peripheral wall portion 42 is provided in a lower end portion 42b with a retainer 46 including an opposing surface 48 facing the outer peripheral portion 32 (the undersurface 32a) of the head 24 from below, and a retaining surface 50 to be pressed against a second fixing target 12a or 12b from above as needed.
