    摘要: Extensible shells and related methods for constructing a support pier are disclosed. An extensible shell can define an interior for holding granular construction material and define a first opening at a first end for receiving the granular construction material into the interior and a second opening at a second end. The extensible shell can be flexible such that the shell expands when granular construction material is compacted in the interior of the shell. A method may include positioning the extensible shell in the ground and filling at least a portion of the interior of the shell with the granular construction material. The granular construction material may be compacted in the interior of the extensible shell to form a support pier.

    摘要: A modular steel-framed construction mold apparatus comprised of a plurality of contiguous foundation, cavity wall and roof deck void spaces defined and formed by assemblies of interlocking encasement panels and connectors integrally attached to a structural steel grillage for accepting, containing, and shaping wet concrete fill, a method for forming, casting, and encasing monolithic composite concrete and steel buildings and structures in situ using said mold apparatus, and a permanently encased monolithic composite concrete and steel structure constructed by employing the foregoing modular mold apparatus and method of concrete construction. The structural steel grillage supports the encasement assemblies before and during the casting process, becoming fully embedded within the cast concrete, and provides tensile strength complementing the compressive strength of concrete fill. The panelized encasement assemblies remain in place following casting protecting and insulating the resulting composite concrete and steel buildings and structures.

    摘要: A building having a foundation and abutting wall panels seated on the foundation. Together they define at least one wall section, tied together by orthogonal tensioners. The tensioners include vertical tensioners located parallel and between adjacent wall panels and fixed to the foundation and at a respective anchor positioned at the top of the adjacent wall panel. These vertical tensioners allow a binding of the adjacent wall panel by said vertical tensioner onto the seat of the foundation. The tensioners also a horizontal tensioner extending between said anchors at each end of the wall section to allow a horizontal binding of wall panels of the wall section together.

    摘要: A foundation forming tool is comprised of an upper base and a lower base wherein the upper base is for resting upon the opposing planks comprising a foundation form well, and the lower base extends below the upper base, into the form well, for purposes of precisely and consistently defining the form well's width. The lower base can be made in 6, 8 or 10 inches in length, to conform to standard widths of foundation form wells. Additionally, this forming tool can be made to be telescoping and adjustable between these standard widths, so that one tool could accommodate a variety of forming needs. Finally, this forming tool further comprises a leveling apparatus for allowing a precise horizontal and vertical level to be achieved across a foundation form.

    摘要: A method of forming a cast-in-situ pile with an enlarged head, wherein a collar (1,13) is releasably affixed to the lower end of a piling tool (10) and the piling tool (10) and the collar (1,13) are driven to a first depth and the collar (1,13) is released from the piling tool (10). The piling tool (10) is then driven to a second depth, the piling tool (10) passing freely through a central aperture (2,14) of the collar (1,13), which remains at the first depth. The piling tool (10) is then withdrawn, and concrete or grout (20) is supplied to the lower end of the piling tool so as to form a cast-in-situ pile (22). When the lower end of the piling tool (10) again reaches the first depth, the collar (1,13) is lifted from the ground and concrete or grout (20) is supplied into the void left thereby so as to form a pile (22) with an enlarged head (23).
