摘要: A concrete structure includes a continuous fiber-reinforced polymer material arranged as a main reinforcing material or a tendon. A short fiber reinforcing material consisting of an organic fiber is mixed in 0.5% or more with respect to an entire volume. The continuous fiber-reinforced polymer material is shaped like a rod or a stranded wire. A ratio Lf/Gm between a fiber length Lf of the organic fiber of the short fiber reinforcing material and a maximum aggregate diameter Gm of a concrete composition is 1.2 to 3.7, and an aspect ratio Lf/De, in which De is an equivalent diameter that is a cross-sectional area of the organic fiber converted into a circle diameter, is 30 to 69.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a pre-stressed beam or panel and the resulting beam or panel are described. The method includes providing a timber-based component (1); providing a pre-stressing member (9) arranged along the timber-based component; applying a tensile force to the pre-stressing member (9); providing concrete anchors (11a, 11b) at locations that are spaced apart along the timber-based component (1); coupling the pre-stressing member (9) to the concrete anchors (11a, 11b); and releasing the tensile force on the pre-stressing member (9) to transfer a compressive force to the timber-based component (1) through the concrete anchors (11a, 11b) to form a pre-stressed beam or panel.

摘要: Flange-to-flange connectors and construction methods using such connectors are disclosed. The connector may include a first and second anchored plates secured to a first and second sets of anchoring bars. The connector may also include a first and second alignment plates configured to mate with the first and second anchored plates. The connector may further include at least one shim configured to be positioned between the first and second anchored plates. A bolt may be configured to secure the first and second alignment plates with the first and second anchored plates, respectively, and when the bolt is tightened, the bolt pulls the first and second alignment plates and the first and second anchored plates together to form a rigid connection, which may eliminate the need to form and cure concrete at job sites, allowing the time, cost, and construction complexity to be reduced significantly compared to conventional connection systems.

摘要: Embodiments of a method for constructing a floor in a steel framed building are disclosed. In an embodiment, the method includes placing a modular concrete deck platform on horizontal beams and girders of a steel framed building, the modular concrete deck platform having a perimeter shape that corresponds to dimensions of a bay of the steel framed building. Shear connector openings located on the sides of the modular concrete deck expose a portion of the top surface. The shear connector openings are recesses on side surfaces of the modular concrete deck platform and a shear connector rebar extends out of each shear connector opening. The method further includes, after the modular concrete deck platform is placed on the horizontal beams and girders, attaching shear connections to the horizontal beams and girders of the steel framed building in the exposed portion of the top surface and within the closed loop.
