摘要： A clamp for securing an item includes a locking rod, first and second clamping members, and a retainer. The locking rod includes an elongated body and a locking member connected to a first end of the elongated body. The locking member is movable between a clamping position and a release position. The first clamping member includes a first opening for receiving a second end of the locking rod body therethrough. The second clamping member is adapted to align with the first clamping member to receive the item therebetween. The retainer is connected to the second clamping member and includes a second opening for receiving the second end of the locking rod body and an interlocking feature for engaging a corresponding interlocking feature on the locking rod body when the locking rod body is in a first rotational position. When the item is positioned between the first and second clamping members and the locking rod is inserted through the first opening and into the second opening and oriented in the first rotational position, moving the locking member from the release position to the clamping position tightens the first and second clamping members into clamping engagement with the item.

摘要： A reaction nut for location on a threaded bolt, particularly a bolt to be nsioned by a hydraulic tensioning device, includes a plurality of internally-threaded segments (22) movable between an outer-most inoperative position radially spaced from the bolt (2) and an operative position making threaded engagement with the bolt (2). The segments (22) have tapering surfaces thereon. A primary ring member (16) is movable axially relative to the segments (22) and has a corresponding tapering surface (18) thereon. A first resilient device (20) biases the tapering surface (18) of the primary ring member (16) into engagement with the tapering surfaces on the segments (22). A cam then (26) moves the primary ring member (16) from a rest position to an axially displaced position against the bias of the first resilient device (20) whereby the segments (22) are moved by an associated second resilient device (24) between their operative and inoperative positions.

摘要： A threaded fastener has a casing enclosing at least three radially inwardly biased arcuate segments positioned to engage the threads of a bolt or hollow threaded member. The casing defines spaced apart internal frustoconical surfaces positioned to engage corresponding surfaces of the segments in the same axial direction. The radially inner ends of the frustoconical surfaces are directed toward a first end of the fastener, and the diameter of the radially inner end of the frustoconical surface away from the first end of the fastener is less than the radially outer diameter of the other frustoconical surface. The threads of the segments substantially fully engage the threads of the bolt or hollow threaded member.

摘要： An improved slide-fit nut is provided for rapid push-on mounting to a substantially seated position on a threaded bolt or the like. The slide-fit nut includes a plurality of threaded nut segments carried within a nut housing and adapted for radial expansion to accommodate push-on mounting onto a threaded bolt. A cap plate on the nut housing includes cam members for retaining the nut segments in threaded engagement with the bolt upon rotation of the nut in a tightening direction. When the nut is rotated in an opposite direction, the cam members displace the nut segments in a radially outward direction relative to the bolt, resulting in substantial disengagement of the nut segments to permit rapid pull-off removal of the nut from the bolt.
